We were here in town due to my husband's work and we really enjoyed staying here. After staying at several hotels all across the United States, this one was really up to par by all means! They desk clerks were young, but very polite and willing to help in any way. The managment seem to have everything under control! And the house keeping worked till late at night to make sure the rooms were in really good condition.
I have two young children, and I didn't feel harmed by no means! They made sure the place was definitely locked at all times, and you had to have a key to get back to the hotel rooms.
I really felt comfortable staying here, even though the surrounding areas were a little rough. It is right off I-10 and some random people walking around, assumingly homeless, but they never bothered anyone.
My family and I stayed in one room the entire month in a half we were in town and we really liked it. I didnt see there suites they had to offer, but I heard they were really nice!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our stay at the BVI was just peachy. We didn't have any problems at all. We booked a non-smoking king bed for $50, we got a spacious room with high speed internet access (free), tv, all that. Had a little table with two chairs, perfect to check your email from a laptop or have something eat. The bathrooms were clean and the bed was comfy. It was a great experience.

Stay at this hotel only if you are desparate. The price is right ($67 plus tax), but you better request a clean room or an upstairs room. I have a feeling the rooms downstairs are used most, and they appear it. The room the young clerk put us in: toilet lid was off and propped up against wall; rug was saturated just outside the bathroom; after killing 5 mosquitos I looked around the ceiling...cobwebs and bugs (alive and dead) in the cobwebs; a bug crawled across my leg after sitting 5 minutes on the bed. The door didn't fit the door opening (too small), so the bugs could crawl and fly right in. Yes, we left that downstairs room and they put us upstairs in a very clean, comfortable room. Like a totally different hotel. (All other hotels were sold out due to huge softball tournament.)
