“Stayed Again in 2012”

well another trip to texas & another stay at the Ramada in Beaumont, Tx. Once again the stay was GREAT & NO Bedbugs !!!! I am reporting that because of other reviews I have seen. Anyway, we were treated great, servace was great as expected & the price was very good. I want to say a special thanks to Vashal who was working the desk when we checked in & also was available to talk with me during the evening. I had many questions about India & it's culture & just what it is like to live there. vashal took the time to talk to me & explain everything I had questions about. His friendly easy going style & honesty were wonderfull. I recommend evryone who stays here to say hi & have a chat with Vashal if you have some free time, you'll find it is well worth your time.

Room Tip: Both times I have stayed on the first floor & I like that.

“Lots of space in these rooms”

We have been staying in this hotel for over a month now (due to a job in the area). The rooms are so big and we do not feel cramped at all, even with two beds in the room. They also have a complimentary breakfast with several choices - scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, cold and hot cereals, pastires, yogurt, etc. We have not used the swimming pool, but it looks inviting. Only drawback was not having an elevator, but we requested downstairs.

“Bed Bugs/ Pregnant and no Elevator!”

Alright, I dont normally complain when things go wrong, however, I am 5 month pregnant... not only did they put me upstairs (without an elevator) my room had bed bugs! I got it diagnosed by my Dr, being pregnant the bites really worried me. So now I have to Wash All of my sheets and bedding and bags as a result.
So if you stay in room 205 Good Luck! I called to let them know... they just said that they have another guest staying in the room today that hasnt complained. however note to them... bites dnt always show up automatically!
Other side note... i found out after booking Hotel elegante was only 10 more thn what I pricelined this room for ($74.00 with taxes and Fees)

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am sincerely sorry about the bed bugs situation. I want to assure you and all of our other guests that we have addressed this concern thoroughly. After eradicating them from the rooms, we also do twice weekly bed bug inspections and use special cleaning products that especially target bed bugs. Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator. We usually reserve ground-floor rooms for those guests with mobility issues. We are always happy to relocate your room if it is not acceptable to you. While I do apologize for the inconveniences you had, I know we can impress you more. We would love to have you back again.

“BED BUGS!!”

I wish I would have read trip advisor first!! I woke up and found a bed bug... Needless to say it's 4am and there's no chance I'm going back to bed. The hotel was good for the price, but the bed bug killed the experience for me.

Thank you for writing a response. I want to assure you that our bed bug problem has passed. After eradicating the bugs from all of our rooms, we now conduct thorough twice- weekly inspections as well as use specially designed cleaning products that target bed bugs. We would love to have you back again.
