Easy on/off I10, good breakfast. We were traveling and this was a good stopover. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

I reserved a king one bedroom with a sofabed. I was extremely upset that it was advertised as a one bedroom because the "bedroom" area didn't have a door. It was hardly a separate room at all. More like a suite. Wide open and no privacy. Privacy is exactly what I needed. When I complained to the front desk, their only solution was that I could pay for a second room. Imagine what it was like when we tried to watch TV in bed at the same time as they were watching TV on the sofa. Two TV's just a few feet apart separated by an archway?

The truck noise from IH10 was so loud that we could not sleep.

It was our third night on the road and we needed a bit of pampering. Nathan, the front desk clerk was both friendly and welcoming. He was enthusiastic about his property and willing to volunteered a dinner recommendation. The pool was cool and refreshing, the hot tub warm and relaxing. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed: fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, desk and TV with a king bed. Breakfast was generous, including fruit, yogurt and Texas-shaped waffles. Besides this, the attendant was both friendly and helpful. All told, this was just the right place and right time during a hectic trip.
