“Cute Place with Great Prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

We stayed at the Kokopelli Lodge just before Christmas, the off-season in Moab. For $35 a night for two people on a weekend, the price could not be beat. While the room was small compared to a regular chain hotel it was much more comfortable and cozy. The room decor was colorful, the wood floors were really nice, and the tile work in the bathroom was beautiful; it is obvious that the owner's take great pride in their hotel by all of the little touches. The location was really great as it is a block off the main street and right in the middle of Moab. We will definitely be back to stay at the Kokopelli and have recommended it to all of our friends!

“More suited to a younger age group on a budget”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2011

We had planned to stay 4 nights but left after just one night. We stayed in #8 - the double room away from the road. The deadlock wouldn't work, internet access was patchy, and the bedspread (although probably clean) had stains. The room was very poky for two people with quite a bit of luggage. On the plus side, the reception lady was friendly and welcoming - and gracious when we told her we were leaving. And it is good value. Probably more suited to a younger age group on a budget (we're in our early 50s).

“Excellent facilities and location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

We stayed at one of the Inntowner units for 5 nights and were very pleased with the facilities and location. We picked the keys up at the Lodgings and received a warm welcome and directions to the Inntowners and a genuine invitation to call back to the Lodgings with any problems (there weren't any !)

Firstly the whole unit and furnishings were perfectly clean. We felt OK wandering around with bare feet and didn't feel the need to wash all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils before using them as we have in some places !

The full sized kitchen / dining room was very well equipped, exactly what we wanted. Despite only being a one bedroom unit there is a good size fridge/freezer and a full size oven and hob. Also a microwave if you need one.

The sitting room had two settees, the bed was king size and there were two single beds in the bedroom too. Even with all the beds and a large open wardrobe and a good size chest of drawers the room was still spacious.

In fact the feeling of the unit was one of space and to make it even more comfortable the cooling is by swamp cooler – so much better than air con. Good sized bathroom with over bath shower.

The units are about 50yds from the main street and about 5-10 minutes walk from the tourist office. We didn't eat out so no reviews for restaurants but we can recommend the laundry next to the City Market - very clean.

We felt comfortable and at home and will certainly return if we ever get to Moab again.

“Adequate accommodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

We stayed at Lodge in the double room at the far end away from the road. It was quiet. The room was clean with interesting decor with wood furnishings. The bathroom was really small so it may be a problem for large guys. We were able to manage just fine. The sink is not in the bathroom but it is in the living/bedroom. That was a bit of a problem as it is tiny and water may spill on the wooden floor in the bedroom.
Overall we liked it because of the attractive price at a great location.

“Great place in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

We (wife, two kids - aged 3 and 5 - and myself) stayed 5 nights in the Inntowner Condos whilst on a recent trip to Moab. We found the place to be very well equipped with all the facilities one would need. The kitched was very well equipped and in a very good condtion. The location is fantastic with the main street a hop, skip and jump away. But as it is located half a block away it is very quiet at night. Wireless internet worked great as well.

Only downside was parking is on street. This is only a minor quibble as it is was always easy to get a park outside the gate. But this should be kept in mind from a security perspective.

Overall I highly recommend this place.
