“Great place to stay for someone who doesn't need the "frills."”

This motel is a small, family-owned business in a town full of big chain motels. It was great for a traveler like me who doesn't need the pool, spa, bar, exercise room, etc. The room was comfortable, roomy, and clean. The owners were friendly and gave helpful suggestions for the area. I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to the area.

“Perfect accommodations.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011 via mobile

Simple, clean, well thought out. Locally owned and operated, the hosts/owners were gracious and helpful. Quiet rooms even though on the main street. Within easy walking distance of town. We opted to stay a second night due to the character and convenience.

“Couldn't have been better!”

Great hospitality from owners and excellent suggestions for dinner, etc. We had been on a long road trip and needed a break so we checked around and decided to give this place a shot. It was the best choice we could have made! Very very clean and comfortable. The beds were quite comfortable as well. Towels were squishy and soft and everything was in order. We liked it so much our friends stayed in the same place a week later since we liked it so much and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay as well.

“best place we have stayed”

I booked 2 nights via internet on other's recommendations but was still leary until we arrived here. The lobby is clean and bright and cheerful, very welcoming. The room (and all rooms) is large , immaculate, smells good (very important to us) and the beds are the MOST comfortable we have ever slept in. Designer sheets, dark green fluffy towels folded intersting ways, a lovely shaded lawn with tables & chairs, very friendly owners, Kris & Jim. We re-arranged our travel itinerary to be able to stay a third night and just relax. Only 5 minutes from the entrance to Arches NP and close to several other major parks. Endless things to do here. Best of all, the price is excellent.

Room Tip: we had room #2 with 2 queen beds, new lookin bathroom, but I think all rooms are the same.

“Awesome little gem in pricey Moab”

We were in the middle of a long road trip and had no intentions of stopping but we decided to check out the room rates at a few places along the way into Moab. The mainstream hotels (Comfort Inn, etc) were all running about $150 a night. We just about gave up and then saw this little place with good AAA ratings and the outside looked very clean and well kept. We stopped and were pleasantly surprised with $85 a night during this high-tourist season. The owner was kind enough to show us the room first and we were very happy. Basic amenities, nothing fancy - small fridge in room. No microwave or hairdryer but it was very quaint and very clean. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable as well (no backache in the morning). We were also given a great restaurant suggestion from the owner. It was a southwestern mexican restaurant called Miguel's Baja Grill. Awesome food and wonderful service! This is definitely worth the detour through Moab!!

Room Tip: Ask to look first. Probably not a bad room in the place.
