“Good Simple Room for Visiting Arches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

Book a room here for my wife and I during our Rockies National Park vacation. Room was as advertised, nice and clean although small. If you are going to spend a lot of time in the room look somewhere else, but for a clean quick place to sleep as you spend most of your time in parks go here. The price is reasonable. There is no breakfast but only a short walk to restaurants and groceries along main streets. Hiking in the park - stay here.

“Small and utilitarian but quaint.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

The rooms are small and "rugged" since they seem to cater to the outdoor crowd, so don't expect any sort of high end amenities or decor. They are akin to dorm rooms. But the bed was comfortable and there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room and the bathroom was utilitarian. A good deal when compared to the other Moab hotels. The staff was very friendly.

“we stay here because there were no other options and prices for the cheapest.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

the title of my blog slash review speaks for itself. this is the place to be critical the proud of however you there were no other options at the time. in general a prices in moab are expensive. the rooms are tiny, sorry, I know that I have no evidence that they are dirty you get that impression. there are very few amenities. I would not stay here nor would I recommend it. nothing personal to the staff or the owner but it just did not feel like a homie place to be.

“A Stay in Moab”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

When I was planning a trip to Arches National Park, I wanted a nice bed, a clean room, a place to relax and unwind from a day of hiking and driving. This place is easy to find on the main street and convenient to a few nearby places to eat. Also compared to many other places I looked up, it was a whole lot cheaper to stay here than many other places.

I recommend this place and will be staying here the next time I travel to hike in Arches National Park.

“Small room, but you're there to sleep, right?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I don't know who comes to the Moab, Utah area to hang out at the hotel but this place would be okay for that if you want. If you want a good bed, clean room, a place to heat up something in your room, and a quiet nights sleep then by all means come to the Red Stone Inn. The in town billboards say it's the best deal in town. I did a lot of shopping before starting my trip and this is a very good deal. ($89.95 after AAA discount) After a long drive from Denver, the beds were very cozy and I got a good nights sleep. Dinner at the nearby Moab Diner was great. Then the next morning hop on over to The Love Muffin for a great breakfast panini, omlet or yes a muffin. Yes you can make a cup of coffee or tea in your room if you like. The folks running the Inn were great and polite. The desk clerk even came and changed the beeping smoke alarm battery so it wouldn't bother us.

Room Tip: Ample parking lot. Non smoking rooms are nice and clean.
