If you are looking for a good, clean and inexpensive play to stay while you play in Moab, the Sleep Inn might be just that for you too.
We stayed a long weekend of hiking and fun in October. Check in was quick and the desk clerks were SUPER nice. They even helped schlep our bags up to the room on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator, so just a note on that in case you are looking for it.
The room we got had two queen beds, a small vanity area and a separate bathroom. They do not have tubs, so if you are traveling with small kids, be aware of that fact. My little guy did fine with the oversized shower so it wasn't a bad thing for us. The room was super clean and the maids did a wonderful job each day. Our beds were comfortable and had good pillows. There are TONS of plugs - something we love for plugging in cell phones, camera batteries, etc. We usually are unplugging lamps to accommodate so we were happy to have a bank to use. Also enjoyed the complimentary wifi.
If you have smaller kids, you may want to ask for a first floor room. Our kids were tired of being cooped up in the car on the trip, and I think they ran too much and disturbed the residents below. We ended up asking for a room change so we didn't have to worry about that the next night.
This hotel is located on the "end" of the Main Street Strip. It's not a huge strip so everything was accessible within a short drive - even Arches National Park.
There is a complimentary continental breakfast that included coffee, juice, hot cocoa, cut fruit, muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, toast and french toast (to warm up) as well as cereal and milk. Be warned, if you want a doughnut or your kids are wanting doughnuts, they are in short supply. I don't say that as a negative, but they only put out two bags of little ones per day and they are gone early. The breakfast area is small on seating, but there is also seating at the pool, up the stairs and in the lobby if needed. The turn over was pretty quick for a table even with the hotel at max capacity.
There is coffee and hot tea available all day and evening. They also offered flavored syrups which I thought was AWESOME as you normally get your coffee fixings and not much else.
I cannot say enough great about the desk clerks. Especially the night clerk, that I cannot remember her name (Clarissa? Clarise? I think it started with a C, short dark hair and always smiling) SUPER nice!! Our lil guy loved to walk around the hotel and sit in the "kitchen" so we got to visit with her quite a bit. All of the staff were uber friendly and willing to help.
There is a pool, it is heated and outdoor as well as an indoor hot tub. Both looked nice and very clean, but we didn't swim as it was chilly in the evenings and we were wiped out.
Over all, a nice place. Nothing luxury, so if you are looking for plush, stay somewhere else. But if you are looking for friendly, clean, easy access, place to stay - check it out.
