Despite dealing with some very pushy and rude women from a travel group, the desk clerk remained pleasant and professional and did her best to be helpful! The hotel is very convenient to historic Harper's Ferry. It's a neat older looking 2 story building. There is no elevator. The rooms were neat, clean, and comfortable. There is a park-like area outside with a picnic table. Loved the mattresses and breakfast was good and consistently restocked.

We stayed here for two nights while on a tour of West Virginia's eastern panhandle. The hotel is within easy driving distance of both historic Harper's Ferry and the casino. The rooms were small and we found we had to either stand on the toilet lid or step into the bathtub to close the bathroom door when inside. They offer the typical breakfast menu but be prepared for a long wait if the hotel is full and you want to try the waffles. We found the rooms to be clean and the staff helpful.

I stayed here for 2 nights while on vacation and I really liked this place and would stay here again. The room was clean, the front desk was helpful, and I felt safe. I liked the location also because it is about 1 hour from Washington DC and 1 hour to Gettysburg PA and I visited both places while I stayed here. The breakfast included yogurt, apples, cereal, biscuits, sausage patties, egg patties, bagels, boiled eggs, muffins, and juice.

I stayed here on September 28th and September 30th 2011, the rooms were clean and the staff there was great! I had just came in off the Appalachian Trail hiking and my friend and I got to the hotel well before the normal check in time (3:00 pm) but we needed a shower and some rest so we asked the day time clerk if she had a couple rooms that were ready. She checked availability and found each of us a room that we could have right away. The staff there is very helpful, I would stay there again. There morning breakfast is very good too.
