This, by far, made our trip the best ever; We checked in at the Bed n Breakfast Friday afternoon and stayed til Sunday late morning. Can I say . . . AMAZING!! The owners were the best - cute cute rooms, food DELICIOUS, (had our dinner catered in Sat night by an amazing chef). The rooms were very clean and neat - spacious living quarters! We had 'piano music' that started the morning getting everyone up and ready to go (piano player was someone from our group and it was lovely :-) The service we received was TOP NOTCH!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND . . . we are most certainly going back there!!!

My fiancee and I wanted a nice place for a quiet winter getaway. The Pinehurst Inn was perfect. Our room was in the main house and was quaint but with some modern conveniences, like the corner whirlpool tub. There was also a kitchenette with small refrigerator, plates, glasses, and silverware in the upstairs. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. The innkeepers answered a lot of our questions about where to go and what to do in the area. We couldn't help but notice how very, very quiet the grounds and inn were. Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Steve & Nancy run an inn that focuses on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or elegance. We stayed in the garden house in the Brownstone Room which was spacious, full of light and quiet. The tub (air jets, not water!) and the fireplace were very appreciated. The in-floor heat was very nice to our feet. And the breakfasts were divine! Fresh, local ingredients and all home made from scratch. All in a beautiful natural setting just outside of the town of Bayfield. And just in case anyone is concerned - Steve & Nancy's approach to the environmental aspects of their business are educational and encouraging, not at all condescending or preachy. A day spa occupies the basement of the garden house which was very convenient for a massage!

The Pinehurst is a very beautiful & relaxing place. My husband & I stayed in June and although our trip was somewhat spoiled by very bad weather, the Pinehurst was a delight for the time we did stay. The room was beautiful and thougtfully done. The only thing I would note is that not all rooms have king size beds. My husband & I are both tall people and don't sleep well in a Queen bed, I always appreciate nicer places having king beds to offer.

The grounds surrounding the house are also wonderful, the gardens are nice and it's the perfect place to relax with a book & glass of wine.

I would highly recommend the Pinehurst.
