Originally I was worried staying here given the reviews about noise. Having stayed there I'll share that it's a nice, fairly quiet property. Remember, you're in a large metropolitan city. City noise happens. However, if you're on a high floor, regardless what street you face, things are fairly quiet. Our group had three rooms (1bd 1ba studio, 2bd 1ba, 1bd 2ba) and everyone had good reviews. A little feedback, room 604 did have a strange smoke smell that they tried to hide with air freshener. Given the location and the price, this is a hard property to pass up in the future

right on the corner of stockton and bush street in San Francisco, just down the street from China town, union square, small but very comfortable, great beds,good coffee and in and out valet parking, its a must in san fran, and its cheaper than finding a lot to park in. I was really impressed by this location.

Excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. 2 BART stations within 5 blocks.
The staff was friendly and genuine. We had to store luggage at the beginning and end of our stay and they were very cheerful and efficient.
Rooms were small but comfortable. It's an old building but has been maintained with care. There was street noise, but it wasn't bad. Our room was on the 6th floor and faced the street.

A friend of mine hooked me up with reservations here for my bday in San Fran. Great front desk service, with suggestions where to eat and took care of the care quickly! I also loved the free laundry room with soap. The location could not have been better....in the of it all!

My ONLY thumbs down of the whole experience was waiting for the valet to bring the car up. VERY SLOW! And when we got the car back, the tire was low (which we later found out was from metal scraps). Even with this, I would still do the stay all over again!
