This is our second visit to this hotel and we will be back. The location is terrific with lots of sights only a hike away. The staff is polite and helpful and the evening "wine tasting" makes for interesting discussions with other travelers. A great spot to visit in SF.

We got a very good deal in bookit.com, so we stay there for a coumple of nights,the hotel is ok , but the rooms are very small , we stayed on a king deluxe, the parking rate its expensive we paid $35 usd per night for a self parking that is a block away from the hotel, there are cheaper parking lots but there where like 6 blooks away on jonas st.

Located near Powell Street with its cable cars, and only few blocks from Union Square you can't beat the location of Executive Hotel Vintage Court. When you add the helpful and friendly hotel staff and relaxed atmosphere you get a hotel that is cozy but still clean and well taken care of. Every evening the hotel arranges a complementary wine hour from 5 to 6 p.m. where they serve their guests local California wines in their nicely decorated lobby in the warmth of the fireplace. This adds to the cozy feeling as guest chat with each other while sipping their wines. We just loved this and got to talk to a lot of people that we would have never met otherwise! The hotel also serves complementary coffee in the morning in the lobby.

This is not a hotel for those who enjoy the atmosphere of big chain hotels. This is a hotel for those who like their hotel with little more personality. The hotel is old but the rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The street and corridor noises carry through the walls and windows so light sleepers might want to consider using earplugs as I did for some nights. Our in-room safe did not work properly and our toilet had some occasional functioning difficulties. Usually these things would have been a major minus but somehow the cute personality of this hotel (and the good deal we got as we reserved our rooms well in advance through internet) made up for these little flaws and left a generally very positive feeling. Would definitely stay there again if in San Francisco!

We stayed for 6 days at the Executive hotel in late January/early February. The rooms was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was only one and a helf blocks to the entrance of Chinatown and half a block to the trolley. The hotel has a wine tasting every evening at 5:00 which we indulged in daily. It was a wonderful stay.
