We had read the reviews about this motel and decided to take a chance. We were well rewarded. The motel clerks were extemely courteous and helpful with directions and other needs. The room was hugh, clean and quiet. We would not hesitate to make this a choice in the future when visiting San Francisco.

My name is Raquel. I stayed at the Presidio with my Doberman Pinscher for two days, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 through Thursday, January 12, 2012. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Upon check- in Tyler also gave me a treat bag for my dog, with a few dog treats, that was really awesome!! I was greeted byTyler, Raymond and a few other members of the hotel numerous times. They were always very helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. Parking was not an issue, they were able to accommodate if necessary. Very close to nearby attractions, especially Fishermans Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Castro Street. I fell in love with San Francisco and the overall staff and hotel environment made it ten times better. I'd definately recommend this hotel and I'll be coming back in the near future!! The only thing I didn't care for was having to pay an extra $20 a night for my Dobie but I received a 20% off, mid week special, since I made my reservation online which helped. Thank you Presidio!

Reviews said the place was clean and staff was helpful, so we tried it. That was our experience--staff was friendly, parking was always there, and it's a great place to stay with a dog, since you can walk right over to the Presidio. If we had to bring a car to SF again, I'd stay be willing to stay there.

Excellent location, just two doors from entrance to the Presidio. Perfect spot to walk the dog. Bruce and staff at the front desk were wonderful.
