The staff was adequate and capable but nobody took that extra step to provide exceptional customer service. There were protestors outside of the hotel that were harassing upon your entrance and exit but we did not find them disturbing once we were inside. The hotel also posted security and someone to open the door for you to expedite your entrance and exit while they were there. The hotel posted that if you would like a late check-out (later than 12pm) that they would do everything they could to accommodate. However, when we requested a 2pm late check-out we were told that for anything after 1pm we would have to pay an additional $50 charge because the room would not be able to be resold for that day. During our stay there was a conference in town and all of the hotels drastically inflated their prices. Our room at Hotel Frank was $400+ per night and the head of our queen bed backed up to the elevator shaft. Raising prices for less than desirable rooms just because they can results in customers staying at other hotels for their next trip just because they can, at least that's what I'll do.
