“Great Hotel close to the main shopping attractions”

My husband and I are frequent travellers and always select our hotels with great care. We picked the Donatello, because of the great price (booking.com) and location. We actually stayed in a Club Donatello room. Club Donatello was listed as a separate hotel and the rooms were much cheaper than the rooms listed for the Donatello hotel itself but these are just a number of rooms within the hotel. The room itself was extremely spacious, spotless, with numerous mirrors and a large bathroom. It is really close to the main shopping area and yet wasn't noisy at all.

“Excellent choice for the price”

It's a great place, well-priced place to stay. Room is large by SF standards and well-appointed. Convenient location. I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: rooms away from Post Street are quieter.

a block from union square. Clean, nicely decorated room, with great roof garden for having a coffee or tea in the afternoon. I highly recommend it - will definitely repeat it as our San Fransisco hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the higher floors , to avoid street noise

“A Great Place to Stay”

A great place to stay. Our King room was spacious and clean. The staff was always helpful. It is close to Union Square and the cable car line as well as other transit options. Rates were very reasonable and provided great value. There are many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner very close by. We will be back for sure!

We went with another couple and had a great time. Great location with trolley access and went to the Warf several times. I got to see a ball game at ATT Park and went to some of the local Irish pubs...lots of fun except my Dodgers lost. I thought the rooms were nice and clean...and trust me for my wife to approve of a hotel is a big thing. You are in the shopping district so my wife was in heaven. Overall a great location and nice hotel. Perfect for a short vaction.
