Considering the location of this hotel and what you're paying for it, this Marriott is completely unremarkable. Sure it's clean and as I said, the location which is block or two away from the fun that is Fisherman's Wharf, is great, but the place itself if just average. It has only four floors so if you want to see the Bay, book the third or fourth floors (there was a waiting list for those when we booked) otherwise you'll have a view of an unremarkable courtyard. The room had a mini-fridge which was nice for storing breakfast and the staff is merely competent. When the door to our patio broke, it took a good 2 days for them to fix it despite the fact that it was a security risk. The Exercise Room, was small and stuffy with one of the two treadmills not working and no one eager to repair it. Again, considering how pleased my family usually is with Marriotts, this is a substandard one.

Here's a tip: if you want to buy breakfast ,snacks, souvenirs, and postcards, go to the Walgreens around the corner from the hotel. Everything was much cheaper there.

This hotel is centrally located in San Francisco. You can reach pier 39 within 10 minute walk. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the area. Good Public transport near by that will take you to main San Francisco attraction. The rooms are good size and clean. Staff was helpful. If you take your car be ready to spend big bucks in parking, but that's just San Francisco. An average of $40 per car for valet parking. There is public parking garage almost next to the hotel that is slightly cheaper.

Stayed for both work and pleasure. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially the valet team. Very clean modern hotel in a great location a block from Fisherman's Wharf. Everything within walking distance.

For the price in San Fran this hotel was in a great location. Right by the Wharf by everything in walking distance. the hotel just finished a major remodel about a year ago. The rooms where nice. The only downside no food or bar on site. Being so close to everything it was never a far walk to find anything and everything you need. I would stay at this hotel if I returned to San Fran!
