“Lazy dishonest hotel manager”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

The manager of this hotel, 'Mr. Ashlam' I believe is his name, is a very dishonest and lazy person. Did not care that the shower head didn't work. Big stain on the carpet. AC didn't work. Only gave me part of my deposit back because stupid me, I forgot to ask for a receipt. Would not recommend staying in this dump at all.

Room Tip: Rooms are dirty and depressing and noise from the street is very loud.

“Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2011

We just got back after staying here September 2011. We are covered in bed bug bites and think that the bed bugs were nice enough to come home with us. The savings of finding a $100 a night motor inn in San Fran is not worth it when you are going to pay hundreds of dollars to get rid of a bed bug infestation when you get back home.

The wireless internet only worked if your room was near the lobby on the ground floor. Mold in the bathroom. Motion sensor lights that you could not turn off and randomly turned on during the night. I wish I could undo the fact that we stayed there. The location was good, the cost savings was good but none of it was worth it.

Room Tip: Don't book here.

“Not good”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011

We found ourselves stranded in San Francisco without a hotel room so we felt fortunate to find 3 vacancies here when the whole city was booked. That delight turned to disgust when we got to our rooms. Ewwwwww. While I knew we weren't going to be settling into the lap of luxury I didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. The huge sign advertising recent refurbishing had to be a joke. The room smelled of stale smoke(I actually walked to Walgreens for room deodorizer), the towels were thin and scratchy, the coffee pot was stained and cracked, and the amenity products were foil packages. The only good thing about it was the location and that is probably why we had to pay $129 for 12 hours at this dump.

Room Tip: Don't stay here unless you are desperate.

“Reasonable hotel with some points.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011 via mobile

The hotel is located in a very busy intersection. But also it is right next to presidio park and the golden gate bridge. Public transport is ok, within 20 minutes your at fishermans wharf with a trolley bus. The room is decent and the owner is step by step investing. We had an new mattress and motion activated lights. But some defects such as a shower that didn't keep the temperature, heater that smelled terrible and bed linnen that did not fit the bed size. Oh yes, and a refrigerator that was a freezer. It costed us all our fresh food. :)

“Don't get tricked by booking this hotel - bed bugs!”

Hi, we stayed here for 2 nights. We overpaid due to being in San Fran on busy weekend. Paper thin walls and ceiling. I've never experienced bed bugs before but now have itchy red bites on my arms, legs and torso so I'm guessing they are bed bugs!
