I've been traveling a lot for work and started staying at the Vitale a few trips ago.. and this hotel gets better and better with each visit. The staff is friendly, helpful and makes me feel like a VIP everytime I am there. I signed up for their loyalty program and was put in a gorgeous room with amazing views of the bay and the Ferry building and roof deck access. Rooms are clean, spacious and the bathrooms are excellent and fully stocked with Fresh products.
Also -- and really important to note-- the staff went above and beyond for me! In my haste to check out and catch a flight, I left a ring (family heirloom) on the bedside table and checked out. When I realized it was there, I called the front desk and they immediately went up to the room and found it! When they returned my call, they offered to hold it or ship it back to me immediately..... when I got back to the office that Monday it was on my desk. Talk about AMAZING customer service.
I will continue to stay at Hotel Vitale for ALL of my trips to SF!
Room Tip: Get a room that overlooks the bay...... its magical.
