Fantastic hotel excellent location very friendly staff, rooms were moden warm and clean. This was the start of a 4 leg birthday holiday and what a start ..... I fell in love with San Francsisco what a city would say here again and would highly recommend this hotel......

This place is a truly great hotel. It is subtle, yet the whole feel of the hotel is very cosy and welcoming. We stayed for a week. After the second night, at our request we were relocated without fuss to a room with a better view over the bay. Every afternoon the hotel puts on free drinks of wine and cider which brings all the guests together in a pleasant environment. The location is perfect, just next to the cable cars and on the main esplanade along the wharf fronts. We are avid walkers and thoroughly explored the area for kilometes without seeing another hotel that we would have preferred to stay in. The ambience of the hotel is one of a boutique hotel that makes you feel welcome. The building is a nice historic one.

Stayed here for four nights. Great location at Fisherman's Wharf, friendly staff and smashing room.only gripe is the poor complimentary drinks facilities, and why you have a coffee percolator in the bathroom is still a mystery to me!!!

My husband and I used this hotel as a perfect getaway for a romantic weekend. The room was perfectly appointed and decorated in a nautical theme that was tasteful and inviting. Our room overlooked a large courtyard area that featured live music. It was a lovely, peaceful addition to our weekend and we threw the window open wide. Connections to the cable car aren't far off and we had no problem traveling to wherever we wanted to go. The weather was perfect - it's San Francisco! - and everyone was helpful from the valet to the desk personnel. We would love to stay here again. It IS a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for which isn't true at every hotel in San Francisco with this price point. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
