The location could not be better, it´s downtown SF, next to China Town and skyscrapers! The staff seem very nice, though I only stayed for 3 days and had too much to do, to get to know them. The place only have 40 beds or so, so it´s perfect, if you don´t like crowds. The matresses are foam, but definately sleepable. Also there is not much extra space in the rooms and the lockers could be better. The restroom/showers downstairs could be cleaner, though some people might not mind much. Showers work well. Staff will wash your clothes for 7$. Free towels. This place is rated high for a reason, though there are some good competitors as well. Find a hostel that suits your needs!
Room Tip: Get a bed upstairs (4th floor) if you can, I didn´t.
