Using our Marriott points, this hotel was given the same rating as the Marriott Hotel 3 blocks away. I would not put them in the same category. The hotel was a nice typical Courtyard. Our room was big enough & clean enough, but lacked character. Our the view from our 16th story east-facing room was of the 16th story of the building across the street. Try for one that faces north or west. Noise could occasionally be heard from activities in the hallway & other rooms. Breakfast not included and quite pricey at the hotel, but there are a lot of restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks in the lobby. It is in the SOMA area and is close to Moscone Center and Union Square shopping. Parking was quoted at 45.00 (typical for SF) but it is a very easy exit to the freeway. We are seniors and it was a 15 minute walk with baggage to the ferry to Vallejo which cost us about $12.50 each round trip.
