The property itself is very pretty and well maintained however, the unit we stayed in (216) could do with some upgrading or TLC. We have stayed in condo's on Maui many times so this was not our first visit.
In comparison to other units in the same price range we were surprised to find out that there was no maid service for the whole 2wks of our stay. In other complexes we have had a maid come in usually once every 3 days. It is also not very private, as another poster mentioned other units can see in to the condo if you have the slat windows open. In unit 216 several of the slat windows are missing, the couch feels like it needs a good clean and the bathroom upstairs looks like it was an after thought.
As far as noise….. 216 backs on to the road so there is a lot of road noise. Also, the neighbours (215) can be noisey…. Their was loud TV after 10pm, bad banjo playing during the day and I hope you like "wheel of fortune" because you're gonna hear it everyday!!! We did talk to management about this but didn't get much help as the occupants of 215 are the owners of the unit. The best units would be the ocean front ones, less road and parking lots noise.
If you are in the over 65 age group this "could" be a great place for you to vacation. Lots of people in that age group here. Every afternoon there is an aqua exercise group of seniors that meets in the pool. The seniors all seem to know each other and seem to get on well together and tend to congregate at the pool late afternoon to chat. BBQ area is great and there is plenty of parking.
