“Mahalo Kahana Village!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

My family stayed here in May 2011.
We will never go anywhere else again.
Vicky manages this place as if it were her home.
In fact, she does live on site!
The whole staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Housekeeping comes in once a week, or more if you need it.
Lovely ladies. Very friendly.
The weekly Mai Tai party was fun! We won a Tshirt!
But the best part? Laying in bed at night and listening to the waves sing you to sleep.
Oh wait..maybe it is having breakfast on your lanai each morning and watching the sea turtles bob their heads up and down...oh wait it might be the beautiful gardens that greet you each day as you walk from your car to your home away from home.
Kahana Village is very secluded. We saw two other families the whole ten days we were there.
We felt like we had the run of the place. No worry about waking up at six in the morning to run down to the pool and place a towel so we would have a chair to lay in the sun.
Laid back, peaceful, tastefully decorated two and three bedroom units.
No need for A/C, the cross breeze is just right.
Twenty steps from your lanai to the ocean.
It doesn't get any better than this! You owe it to yourself to stay at Kahana Village on your next visit to Maui.
Oh yeah!! The best part? Once you visit...your next visit you get a substantial discount!
Win Win!
We can't wait to return in January!

“Comfortable Condo, Beautiful Sunsets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

My wife and I rented unit #15 for several nights. The condo was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The grounds are nice and the ocean views were great, especially at sunset. No complaints, really. The only reason I might recommend somewhere else would be if it's really important to you to be within walking distance of certain things. There are a few restaurant and bars within walking distance from here, but not a lot of choices. Also, the beach in front of the condos seemed like it wasn't really great for swimming or snorkeling, so if you feel like you must have that right outside your front door, you'll probably want to keep looking.

Room Tip: Not all units have the same outstanding ocean view from the balcony.

“Amazing time at Kahana Village Unit 32”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

We recently stayed at the Kahana Village in Unit 32 while in Maui for 2 weeks. It was recommended to us by some friends that have stayed there numerous times. They usually stay in unit 28. This unit was not available for the 2 weeks of our vacation, but the staff at Kahana recommended Unit 32. It was perfect. The lanai is ocean front looking out to Molokai. The beds where comfortable. Had a variety of pillows to choose from. It was clean. Housekeeping came once a week. The kitchen had everything you need. They provide, some coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, Tide and bounce to do your wash. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. This place is a gem. It's quiet. Until we went to Mai Tai wednesday we did not know anyone else was staying in the other condos. I recommended this to anyone going to Maui, I know I won't be staying anywhere else. The grounds are beautiful and it's very well maintained. Again can't say enough of the staff. Can't wait to go back. I miss sitting on the lanai and looking at the ocean.

Room Tip: Unit 32 is at the point looking out to Molokai. Very quiet, away from the pool area. You don't...

“An Amazing Time at Kahana Village in Unit 40!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

We are still on the island and recently stayed for nine days at Kahana Village, unit 40, before moving on to our bi-annual resort for the final part of our stay. It was an exceptional experience and one that we will repeat annually from now on. The unit was in wonderful condition with a beautifully updated kitchen and both bathrooms remodeled also. The entire property is exceptionally manicured and currently going through some "face lift" renovations. The workers were very respectful and noise was kept to a minimum and didn't affect our stay in the least. The pool and spa were very clean as were the BBQ's, which we used almost every night. The Wednesday night Mai Tai party was awesome and those Mai Tai's get a ten in my book. ;-) The Manager, Vicki and her husband are truly amazing. We enjoyed getting to know them during our stay and they even helped us move some extra luggage to our resort that would not fit in our rental car. Overall we give this property a 10 and vow to return every year. Unit 40 is an exceptional unit and we will request this one again and again! We agree with another reviewer that states "Kahana Village is a hidden gem". We are glad we are one of the lucky ones to have found it.

Room Tip: Make sure you book through the resort itself so you obtain a room that is maintained by the Kahana V...

“Beware of unit #41”

This unit is not a part of the Kahana Village management system.... It's is privately owned and is not in good shape. The place is dirty and has not been kept up. I would stay away from this particular unit. I loved the Complex and the people in the management office.

Room Tip: Rent through the management company not from a private individual....
