My boyfriend and I booked the Shores of Maui for 10 days. There is always an uncertainty...even if you see pictures online, of what you are going to get when you walk in the door. Well, this was perfect. I'm not talking "perfect" in a granite counter tops, brand new type of way. I mean, you wake up in the morning and walk onto your lanai which has with no doubt, the best view of any hotel in Kihei. Breath taking. The pool area is well taken care of with incredible view, again. It's quiet, yet, literally two blocks away from all the best restaurants and shopping. I hate to even say "if you aren't expecting the Ritz" type of commet, because then you may think it's rough. It's not. It's a perfect place for you to sleep, catch a sunset, cook your dinners, mix some drinks and then enjoy Maui outside your condo. Go for it! You will not be disappointed.

We have been to Maui five or six times now and the Shores of Maui is our favorite place to stay. It is within easy walking distance to the grocery store, close to night time entertainment and very close to the beach. The condo unit has all the amenities of home and the grounds are wonderful. We were last here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and now we are returning to stay a whole month. You won't be disappointed with a stay here. Everyone is so friendly! We love this place.

My husband and I stayed in two units (during our week long Maui vacation) at the Shores of Maui. Both were located on the second floor and both units had beautiful ocean views (with the exception of the road & telephone poles). The condo is located within walking distance to all three Kamole beaches which are spectacular. Also within walking distance are several restaurants, a supermarket, and a souvenir market.

We're from SoCAL and have stayed in a lot of beach houses over time so we are used to seeing the occasional ant or other small insect. We saw a few ants in the condo's bathroom but nothing spraying a little raid didn't take care of immediately. The condo had everything we needed including beach towels, a stereo, even swimming goggles!

The Shores of Maui is not the Ritz or even the Hilton - hotel wise its more on par with Holiday Inn -- better than basic, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The unit I stayed in at the Shores of Maui was tastefully decorated and well equipped. It had a beautiful ocean and sunset view from the condo. I could watch the beginner surfers at Charlie Yound Cove from my lanai. It was a great deal for the price! This place is ideal for kids!
