We had 5 wonderful days/nights on Maui island at this homely condo (A402). I would recommend Haleakala Shores to anyone who wants a comfortable, clean, Hawaiian-style condo to stay in. Loved that there were 2 separate air-con units in case it was too hot and also that you could split the condo into 2 totally separate bedrooms (each with their own bathroom) plus separate living area. Use of the beach chairs & snorkels was extremely useful too. Thanks very much for a great place to stay on this beautiful island!

We rented our condo through vrbo.com listing number 147209. Each unit is individually owned so the interiors can vary depending on what the owners have done. About a 15 -20 minute drive from airport.
It is an older complex with a central open air walkway that the units connect off of. There is an elevator to make the site handicap accessible. There is assigned parking for each unit.
An outdoor pool is solar heated and there are gas and coal BBQ's available. This is a smoke free and pet free complex. A complex manager lives on site to take care of emergency concerns. This site is across the street from Kamaole Beach III. If you are at the far end unit it would take about a 3 minute walk to be on the beach. A 5 minute walk to restaurants and a small convenience store.
This specific unit has been renovated so it has two distinct bedrooms. (Original units have a divider screen from the living room to make the second bedroom, not great for privacy)
Large kitchen with granite counters and all accessories to cook.
One bathroom has tub and shower, the other has a large walk-in shower.
Each bedroom and living room has their own air conditioners.
Washer and Dryer
King bed in one room, queen bed in the other.
Beach chairs and equipment supplied by owner.
Books and games if you want to stay in-doors

My family and I have stayed at Haleakala Shores , six times over the past 30 years... Without a dought , our experience in Don's condo, has been by far the best..
We started every morning on the lani..with all the sights and sounds of that beautiful island in front of you..We watched every sunset from the comfort of this beautiful condo.

B509 was very clean,open and bright with a great view of the ocean from the lanai. This unit had very high ceilings being one of the pent houses and we found everything we needed from hand soap to dishwasher detergent.upon arrival we were welcomed to Hawaiian music playing on the satellite tv and a pineapple! Right across from kam 3 - perfect!
