“More than satisfactory!”

We only stayed at the Maui Homestay for a couple of days, but we were more than satisfied with our experience there. Our accommodations were just fine for our intents and purposes - the beds were very comfortable, the accommodations spacious and comfortable. Freshly baked bread was served each morning, along with fresh fruit, etc. Tom is an interesting, warm and hospitable fellow, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him each morning - he always made himself available for conversation and to answer any questions we might have. I highly recommend this B & B, and would stay here again.

“We returned to Maui Homestay for our second great stay”

The amazing breakfasts with the fresh Hawaiian fruit and warm breads began each day on a positive note. Tom was the perfect host, giving us guidance on activities when we asked. We liked the option of cooking meals for ourselves in the clean comfortable apartment. This was our second time staying there and we will return.

“Tom saved Maui”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2010

After a horrible stay at a bed and breakfast last year in Kuau, we almost did not return to Maui or tried to simply fly in and then leave. After deciding we wanted to be on the island, we decided to stay the Homestay Bed and Breakfast. We booked only two nights in the event it was another terrible experience. Well, all I can say is Tom saved Maui. We had a wonderful stay and if we ever vacation on Maui again, we will definitely stay here. The place is great - lovely, clean rooms with a fantastic breakfast. It is lcoated on a cul de sac - private and quiet. Tom offered hints on the island and helpful information. We had an early flight, and he was kind enough to bring supplies and breakfast to store the night before so we could eat at our leisure and take food with. If you are coming to Maui, definitely look into this place.

“A superlative bed and breakfast we return to.”

We look forward to staying with Tom and Akiko.
Peaceful surroundings. Their garden is a green delight, full of birds shared with guests.
Very comfortable bedroom and living room. Well equipped kitchen together with coffee maker.
Every day we looked forward to breakfast on the deck. Cereal, lots of fresh fruit, followed by unexpected breads and surprises.
Beach mats, chairs, towels to use.
The daily chats with our hosts at the end of breakfast provided tourist and other information about Maui.
