We just came back from a week long stay at Kihei Beach Condos. Booked through VRBO directly through Bill and it was perfect! He even allowed us a late checkout due to the flights leaving so late. First this place has views you can only dream about. PERFECT on the 3rd floor too- Our 2/2 condo was very well equipped with everything from laundry soap to dish soap, towels for the beach, 4 beach chairs,2 straw mats, ice chest, coffee pot, toaster and every kitchen item you need. Not to mention very clean sheets, bath towels, extra towels, extra linens in the closet- The master bedroom was a little stuffy at night since we could not figure out how to turn the fan on high. But otherwise amazing! Secondary room is two beds pushed together, but were very comfortable! The street noise was loud, but we are heavy sleepers and it didn't bother us. Light sleepers may have a concern. There is a homeless problem on the island, not just where we were. They didn't bother us and weren't afraid either. They end to sleep and shower at the canoe club next door- again, never had problem. Just remember to never leave anything in your car! Will come back and stay in same unit!! VERY QUIET condos, I bet we were the loudest family there- telling jokes, laughing like crazy- it was a blast! Wi Fi in room was a perk!

We arrived Sunday night to a condo the was dirty and un kept. We emailed the rep that set up the condo and did not get a response until the next day. Here is what the general manager wrote, blaming us that she did not respond.

"Sending an email the day after you arrived to an employee that only works every other day did not allow us to respond as we would have liked to. Because of these issues we will not be able to issue a cleaning fee refund or reduction."

We got to clean the showers, sweep up the dead cockroaches and dust the furniture that was filthy.

ok were do i start,BED BUGS or the tiny pool was out of service the entire time so they could do a crapy nosiey tile reno around the pool , the were no clean bed sheets or pillow cases they gave us notice they were spraying pesticidesd and didnt even cheak to see if we were out of our room, sprayin for bed bugswich my friend was a victin of. the care taker was an ---hole. Room 202 was dated in deed , sugar beach is nice but the renovation and spraying pesticieds ------ us off! the worst is we payed full in advance

We stayed at Kihei Beach Resort unit 603 from July 2 through July 9, 2009. We were exceptionally pleased with this unit. The unit was beautifully decorated and comfortable, though it did have a bit of a hotel feel. The oceanview from the lanai was beautiful, very relaxing. The unit was clean, and the kitchen and bath were well-equipped with some nice amenities. Beach needs seemed to have been provided by the condo association and were found by the pool area, though we did not use any. The building, pool area, and landscaping were also well-maintained, and the condo staff was friendly. The staff at Ali'i Resorts were personable and helpful as well. The location of KBR was convenient to shopping, restaurants and nice beaches as well as easily accessible to other areas of the island. We particularly appreciated the ABC Store and the Farmer's Market right across; every morning we got our coffee and breakfast and then sat on the lanai and watched the waves and canoe club.
