“Jef f(the ground's keeper) is a Great Guy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 March 2010

I felt bad when someone wrote negatively about our ground's kepper, Jeff. We have stayed at the Maui Park Shore for many years now, in fact the condo we stay in is just next door to Jeff's. He does a great job of keeping the place immaculate. Rules are a good thing becasue they keep things in order. Just a few days ago I had a problem with my dishwasher, those things are to be looked after by contacting the owner but Jeff came in and looked at it for me and when I contacted the owner I was able to explain exactly what was wrong. He would have fixed it but the part was new and under warrenty. Thanks Jeff! Keep up the good work. We love the Park Shore. The Delawski's

“Loved Unit #114”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2008

My husband and I just spent 3 wks at the Maui Parkshore in Unit #114. This unit is located on ground level and is easily accessible. You don't have to climb stairs or take the elevator. The kitchen has just been remodelled and looks fantastic. All the amenities are there including washer/dryer, fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. We usually eat breakfast and lunch at the condo and most suppers but of course we like to treat ourselves to a night out at one of Maui's excellent retaurants.

The best part about the Maui Parkshore is the closeness to the beaches. Just a hop, skip and a jump across South Kihei Rd and Kamaole Beach III is right there. My husband loves to snorkel and quite often sees sea turtles at this location. Makena (or Big Beach) is only a 10 minute drive south.

The Unit faces west so you can see the beautiful Maui sunsets every night. There is a pool for guests only and also a well maintained BBQ area with 4 BBQ's. We love Kihei because of it's many beaches and the sunshine. Will definitely be back for another visit.

“Great Location, great KamIII access and a wonderful time!”

Ah Maui....What a wonderful place. We've been going to maui and staying at the Mparkshore for the last 5 years. however, this year, our regular unit was booked out - so we found another through a friend.

The parkshore has the best location IMO in Kihei, but i must admit that the unit we'd been staying at would never prompt me to write a review (good thing0. However, the unit we stayed at this year was such a HUGE improvement - I had to let somebody know!

Everything inside was new, clean and made you really feel at home. the owners, btw where totally great as well and provided us with some helpful information that we never knew in 5 years of visiting.

We've already made our booking in the new unit, http://www.mauiparkshoreislandsurf.com/ as we dont want to miss out hnext year.

My advice for anybody staying at Maui Parkshore would be to ensure that you stay in a nicer unit as we did this year. It really makes the perfect complex even better!

“Location great/dated interior”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 April 2008

The location and view from the lanai were wonderful. The actual condo was very dated, I am sure it still had all original paint, cupboards, wall coverings and much of the furniture from the early 70s. The mirrored wall in the bathroom was a bit of a shock. We could have overlooked that, if the cleaning crew had done a better job. All ceiling fans, exhaust fans were very dirty and the dirt was moved to the walls and curtains/drapes.
After the place is flipped, I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

“Parkshore for me”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 April 2008

I stayed at the Parkshore in early November in a top floor unit
on the pool corner near the street where the road noise was
the greatest and was the only drawback in the stay for the 1st
2 days. A 10 minute walk will get you to anywhere needed for
food, beaches etc., or the bus stops are outside the door for $2
is the best valyue for seeing the Real Kihei and Wailea[?] It is amongst the VERY best there is in Hawai'i without a doubt.
I paid $200 Aussie per night and was far more spacious and
equiped than the Banyan and a few others I saw. Also there was
no livestock in the beds and was far more sound proof between
rooms due to the thick brick walls. The ice maker in the large
refrigerator made enough ice for an everyday banquet. Yes,I
would go back to the same unit in preference to the others
and that includes the OVER rated Sheraton which is 2X the price for 0000 extra than this quality bargain which had everything
that I could possibly want. A few hours at Wailea shows the best
of Maui and is a pleasure to be there.. Good luck..NoelinOz
