We had the pleasure of staying in Unit #246 in Building #6. I can't remember a more relaxed and lovely experience staying this condo. Our neighbors were quiet. Our balcony overlooked the pool and we could see the ocean and Kamaole Beach #2 just over 2 blocks away.
The unit was well equipped in the kitchen area a dn the bathroom was newly renovated and ha a lovely shower.
We are going back for 3 weeks November 2011!

This was our second time staying here and you can't beat the location or the price. It's literally steps from Kam II beach which is one the best beaches if you have kids, and centrally located on the island so it's literally minutes away from anywhere you want or need to go.
We booked directly thru the management company so we were able to pick the building location and they had pictures of each unit so you knew what you were getting. The grounds and pool were very clean. I would provide one caution. The complex houses mostly seniors who are militant about noise. We were "shushed" quite a few times so it was a bit unnerving trying to be as quiet as possible with 2 boys (not an easy task)!

Right across the street from Kamaole II, which is a beautiful all sand, gradual entry beach. Great for kids and the waves were fun for boogie boarding and swimming. The Kihei Kai Nani was value priced, and far from the shee-shee Wailea Resorts. Small pool, and we were in a great room over-looking the pool with a view of the beach. Close to everything. 10 minutes from the beaches of Makena, and 20 minute drive to Paia and the beaches on that side such as Ho'okiipa. All-in-all, it's a clean modest set of condo's, perfectly located for a great price.

Life is good at the moment, we are in Maui, I am sitting on the Lanai looking at the ocean and writing a review! I was reading reviews looking for a second condo for my friends on our next trip and thought I would share our Maui experiences.

This is our third trip to Maui and each time we have stayed at Kihei Kai Nani in unit 342. We originally found this condo by recommendation of a friend who raved about Maui and the condo, our experience with the condo and the owners has been nothing short of wonderful. We love the condo, the location and have found the owners very informative and easy to deal with. We went to Oahu for a few days after our trip last year and our security deposit refund was in the mail when we got home.
The beach across the street is so convenient; yesterday we snorkeled in the morning, rode the boogie boards in the afternoon and then watched the sun set into the ocean! Our time in Maui goes by so fast with all there is to do and see. Lots to do in this area so we went without a car this trip, next time we will probably get a car just to get around the island easier, there is an inexpensive bus system but travel does take some time.

The condo does not have elevators and this unit is on the third floor, it does make for a private atmosphere and an ocean view and we only miss an elevator after our Costco trip!

We are coming back next year for our honeymoon and plan to keep returning until hopefully we can come to our own place someday.
