“Lovely stay at the yurt! All the comforts of home with a touch of camping.”

We had a wonderful quiet stay. Very special & cute little place you have here. Sorry we didn't get to meet the owners or have any massages (definitely on our list if we go back to Hana). The yurt is great and very comfortable. . .Listening to birds and watching the sunrise in our own private place was great. Perfect set up inside the yurt with all the comforts of home.

Tip: Don't leave any food or drink out overnight. .We woke with a friendly little lizard in a glass we'd left a little juice in. . .maybe a little rum too (lizard wasn't moving too fast but looked happy) :)

Everything really was wonderful, even with our visitor (which wasn't a bother at all). . it was nice to have somethiing along the lines of camping but really much more upscale then just a tent on the beach. Frogs, birds, flowers, ocean. ..everything was beautiful.

Definitely recommend staying here while in Hana (you can stay in a hotel anytime, but where else can you stay in a yurt with great oceanviews and perfect temperatures?)

“unique way to visit Hana”

The owner is very nice. The pictures do not do it justice; it is much larger and nicer than it appears. We took a chance on this for one night to end our Maui stay and break up the Hana drive. We were very glad that we did. You can walk to the different beaches from there. You can barbeque in the backyard overlooking the water. You can walk to the high end Hana hotel for dinner or drinks. You can get a massage overlooking the water. The outside shower was great as were her shower products. I bought the lemongrass scrub to take home. Great value for a unique stay.

“A beautiful experience in Hana”

Location - Awesome. On the top of a hill overlooking Hana bay, the yurt we stayed in Luana Spa Retreat was simply awesome. The yurt itself is a unique experience - small but very clean and convenient. Even has wi-fi. The highlight is the open shower where you can hear the ocean as you take a bath. If you stay at Hana, I highly recommend this place - if you want a unique, unforgettable experience and aren't looking for 5-star resort style comfort, you need to check this out.

“Adorable yurt in Hana! Loved it!”

We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon, and it was the perfect retreat for privacy and beauty. The yurt was quite spacious, and the owners left a number of books and brochures which we perused. Having the ability to cook was also a major plus, and the General Store in town actually had some really decent food for cooking.

We also had massages overlooking the bay, which were AMAZING. Also, half the price of the cost at the pricey resort spa we stayed at in Wailea!

I can't wait to come back - Hana is everything I envisioned -- beautiful, isolated and very romantic.

“Peace and Bliss with Hawaiian Style”

Being yurt, and being priced as it was, this blew away our expectations. The location is unreal - quietly perched above hana bay with grounds of flowers and coconut trees. The bath house was luxurious - robes, scrubs, orchids, hot shower with the bay as a backdrop. All the comforts we needed, while having such a natural feel. It was nice to wind down the day as the sun set - dinner cooked on the gas grill and tiki torches lining the edge of the rear lawn. The only noise we heard at night was the noise we wanted to hear - rolling waves in the bay, swaying trees, and a few birds and frogs. A few restaurants and beaches are a short walk away.
