“Perfect sunny location to explore Kauai”

Stayed with family in their time share over Thanksgiving. The resort is in a perfect location and the condos have beautiful views of the beach and golf course and are appointed well. The breezes are lovely. The store has small convenience items and the free DVD library was nice to have. We wished only for wifi in the guest rooms and I would have liked newer towels. We stocked the fridge at Sueoka's market in Koloa and Costco in Lihue. The beach across the street is wonderful and the sunsets there on the lawn by the Beach House restaurant (yummy) were incredible. I walked either to the Blow Hole park or to the coffee shop in Kuhui'ula shopping center each morning. This spot was convenient for excursions too. I loved staying here for my first visit to Hawaii.

“Great location,spacious,well stocked, just outdated!”

My husband and I stayed here through our timeshare company RCI. We stayed December 10th-17th of 2011. The location is amazing, and snorkeling right in front of the hotel is awesome. Lots of fish, and my husband saw sea turtles twice. If you want to relax and sunbathe this is nothe beach for it, as there is not much sand and is usually crowded. But easy entry for snorkeling and great underwater sights.

We stayed in the building in the middle of the 3. It had a huge lanai and looked right over the ocean. All of the rooms are undergoing renovations. I beleive most are getting new flooring. Ours did not, but they did deliver brand new furniture the last night we were there. It has a washer and dryer, FULL (including stove and oven) kitchen stocked with EVERYTHING you need. Even a blender for mixed drinks and a toaster for breakfast. besides the fact that the location is impossible to beat, and so are the views, the place REALLy needs a face lift (which it seems they are doing) Our bathroom was old, and scummy.made me feel uncomfortable. I felt like I was in an old apartment complex. The carpet was ugly and needed to be replaced. So bathrooms and carpet are a thumbs down. The kitchen was clean and up to date enough.

As far as the resort itself, it doesnt have too much fancy stuff to offer. But we werent there most of the time anyways. There is no place to eat there, or order a nice cold drink for on the beach or next to the pool. The Beach House restaraunt is literally in the parking lot, but is for lunches and sit down dinners.

The people are friendly and like I said its a nice place, just needs some updating. and some cleaning. If you do go to Kauai and stay on the south shore, eat at Roy's in the smaller and older shopping mall right down the road. It's on poipu road. It is a great place for a romantic dinner and its worth money!

“Unbelieveable location - A true gem”

We stayed in a two bedroom two bath unit that we traded into. We were ont he ground floor whihc was a little bit of a bummer, but really didnt matter since you are pretty much on the beach. We had three kids (12, 13 and 17) and we snorkled every day at a beach that seemed to be "the spot" for all the guided snorkel and SNUBA tours.
Great location great property. Hope we can come back again

Room Tip: Second floor and higher are the prime spots.

“Would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

We've stayed in many, many condos in our travels, and this was very well-appointed. The little details made the difference, from the number of hooks on the back of the bathroom door, the ledge for vanity items, the hangers in the closets, extra tissue and paper towel, etc. The view was awesome. Our only complaint, was that the bedroom faced the parking lot and we were awakened a few times overnight because of people arriving late and talking enroute to their suite. Twice we slept in the living room on the pullout bed, but mainly to take advantage of the wave music!

“Across from the best snorkeling beach on Kauai”

We rented a time share from one of the owners. I'm not clear on the rental situation. We loved the location, magnificent view and gorgeous, lush surroundings. Both our condo, facing the beach and overlooking one of the pools in tropical setting, and the grounds, were immaculately maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Weekends they host continental breakfast and orientation to island activities. The only drawback was there wasn't a restaurant on the premises. The nearby Beach Hous Restaurant is upscale and expensive, although we heard it's very good. I suggest confirming the check in dates before booking airflights, because we had to lose one night.

One issue was the loud sound of wind rushing through the stairwell and railing. W were on the third floor and the first night it sounded like a horror film! I got used to it and slept soundly other nights.

Room Tip: Third and forth floors have best views of the beach.
