We had a chance to visit Kauai again and had one of the best vacations ever. If you are thinking about Kauai - don't think just go, you'll have an amazing trip. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows how great the place is where we stayed. We have been to Kauai before and we didn't realize there are such nice, air-conditioned options available. We just assumed everything was the same there. That's why I thought leaving a note might help someone else. There are lots of older condos and they are fine - but if you are like us and appreciate newer and nicer, you won't find much better in such a great location than the Regency Condos. The kitchen was great - plenty of space to really use it - and we did. My wife loved our master bedroom and our bathroom - again lots of space and quite nice. The reservation staff was great and helped us get what we were looking for. The only negative was the ac had a problem for part of the day, but the staff got it taken care of right away. It made us appreciate the ac much better having lost it for a bit. Not sure how we survived last time without it. Overall it was a great place to stay and we will definately be back.

We stayed in Regency Villas 110 in Poipu, Kauai and were really disappointed. The condo is nice enough, but the noise was unbearable. The walls seemed paper thin and we could hear everything in the unit above us. There was a family with children staying above us during our stay, so we heard the footsteps, the crying, the chairs being drug across the floor (like fingernails on a chalkboard), the doors closing, the toilet seat dropping, etc..... and the sound of the toilet flushing was enough to wake us from a dead sleep. Not only that, we heard the outside noise as well - the cars in the parking lot right outside the bedroom window leaving at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. would wake us every morning, and there is a street next to the bedrooms too, so the traffic noise would also wake us. The photos in the listing for this property DO NOT show an accurate view from the lanais/windows. We were also frustrated by the wi-fi access. It was very hit and miss - sometimes we could connect, sometimes we couldn't. It is a nice enough condo, but our stay was ruined by the noise. Next time, we will look for a condo closer to the beach and with a much better view.

As a meeting planner I sent an extended family to Kauai. Everyone had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. However, the reservations were made through the reservation service of Kauai Travel Authority. The reservation agreement stated that my company would be compensated for making the reservation. Additionally they were overpaid for the resrvation and i am due a refund. The stay was six months ago and i still haven't received my compensation and refund, even after several verbal assurances. Find another way to confirm this property as Kauai Travel Authority is NOT A REPUTABLE company.

This is a shady company. Do NOT give them your credit card information, do not stay with them. They are full of false promises. Myself and two co-workers had three separate indicents with this company. As a result no one from our company is allowed to stay there anymore.

They owed me $2000 and was promising payment ...for 3 months. After failed "attempts" to credit my credit card, deposit a check (it bounced), and wiring me money, they finally credited my credit card. By this time I had an overdue credit card balance fee, overdraft fee, and a returned check fee that I had to pay out of pocket. They promised to pay these fees yet do not return phone calls and emails that I have sent.
