We really didn't think we could afford to go to Hawaii but this lovely hotel was partially
responsible for making that happen. It's not the "fanciest" but beautiful in it's own way.
The grounds are beautiful and kept perfectly manicured. The hotel room itself (we had ocean
front-which I would recommend if you want to wake up to the ocean sounds) was clean but not elaborate-100 feet or less from the ocean! There is no beach, per say, but since we knew we would be on the road and site-seeing a lot-that didn't matter to us. All in all a good stay. We did not use the smallish pool or bar during our stay. It is a good location for doing all
the tourist spots and downtown Kapa'a-shopping etc. No restaurant on site...which was not an issue for us. There are refrigerators and microwaves and a small sink in the kitchen-dishes too. Gas grills in the pool area......
The only beef would be the same beef we read on this web-site BEFORE going-the PARKING
is problematic and not plentiful - probably due to the bar next door -not affiliated with this hotel. But the weather was so beautiful-we really didn't mind....
Very nice hotel and stay for our first visit! We also loved watching the humpback whales
and birds.......from our second floor patio.
