We stayed in a wonderful graden room for a week over Christmas. The room was wonderful, the bed gigantic (California King), the board walk was relaxing and the hotel seems to be this island in the middle of busy Kapaa. We never heard any of the street noise others reported but that was most likely because of the ocean waves. How romantic.Easy walk to restaurants, shops, you can take the bikes and go for miles right along the ocean. In the canal next door we saw twice one of the rare monk seals. Attached to the hotel is a great shaved ice store and we had a lot of fun with the tame chicken that are omnipresent on the island.The breakfast they offer could be improved with tea and something else than sweet rolls. The staff was wonderful, made dinner reservations for us, gave us tips where to go in good and bad weather, gave us movies for some stormy nights, and was always friendly and cheerful.

I did not want to leave this hotel.......it was oceanfront, nice hawaiian decor & very clean with an extra comfy bed, and the staff was most helpful and friendly. We went to 4 islands......stayed in 4 different hotels and this one was the best by far! I would definitely go back again. We were on the second floor which was great as we had a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel had a very nice pool, even though we didn't go swimming and the hotel is right across the street from a little cafe that has great breakfast.

This is a great hotel on the water that is walking distance to many restaurants. The path along the water in Kapaa is great. It goes on for 4 miles. This hotel is on that path. The rooms are updated and the staff is very friendly. My preference is the second floor.

Outstanding value and service provided by exceptional hosts Rhonda and George. They prepare a beautiful continental breakfast buffet every morning with the freshest of ingredients. I was impressed by the aloha spirit with which this home away from home was managed. Rent bicycles for $5.00 per day! have Rhonda book you a tour for less than you can imagine...even at the last minute. Wash and dry your clothes for under $4.00...unheard of!!!

Do yourself a favor...stay here on your next trip to paradise...you will not be disappointed.

Dreams do come true in blue Hawaii and there is no better place to dream sweet dreams than at the Coral Reef Hotel.
