My husband and I stayed at the Kaua'i Kualapa Cottage for a week during the summer of 1998. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was so nice to wind back up the countryside hills and retire to our enchanting little cottage by the mountains every night.

The cottage was very clean and very cozy and had all the amenities we needed. It was also wonderful to be able to look out the back slider and gaze at the mountains or to sit in the breakfast nook and listen to the birds as we ate.

I think for the cost the cottage is a steal of a deal and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in a quiet retreat in a tropical paradise.
