“This place is a GIFT to the travelers wanting solitude, comfort and local flavor.”

This Inn was completely what we wanted for our 10 year anniversary trip to Kauai. We liked that it was right in the middle of the island so we could go to Waimea Canyon and hike for a day trip or to Kee Beach and the Kalalau Trail without a huge travel times. If you read the guest book that stays in each suite, you'd know that many people like us were VERY happy with our stay. I loved the privacy and the quiet of the place - no kids under 12. I loved the fruit trees from which we could choose our breakfast. They also had laundry available which was SO appreciated when we got a bit messy on some of our excursions. Having locals that are available for questions was ideal. We used their advice on many of our activities and especially on food tips. They pointed us to a great fresh fish place that we used for a wonderful dinner cooked on the grill they provided. YUM!

“Loved staying at the Kauai Country Inn.”

We stayed in the smallest of their suites, but it was cleverly equipped with everything we needed. The Computer and all the DVD's, wine and chocolates were a special touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location of the inn is well placed for exploring both the north and south of Kauai.

“They thought of everything; clean quiet, well equipped, roomy”

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again;
Everything was fantastic and I would highly recommend Kauai Country Inn to any one coming to Kauai. The welcome gift of wine and
chocolates was an appreciated touch. The computer/internet access in our room and free laundry were invaluable. Great location-up in the hills about 10 minutes from town in a rural setting, very quiet. Very clean and in good shape. I just we wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the water toys provided.

“Country Living at its Finest”

The Kaua'i Country Inn is located in a nice quiet neighborhood away from touristy glitz. We go to Hawaii often and usually go to either The Big island (the Hilo side) and/or Moloka'i. We haven't been to Kaua'i in over 30 years and were leery about what we would find do to over growth. It was very pleasant in this area of the island.
The suites are very large and comfortable. Mike is a Beatles aficionado. Located within the Inn is a Beatles Museum. Unfortunately we didn't get to go through it due to timing. It gives us a reason to go back! Everyone is very accommodating and helpful. If I was to have a complaint it would be that it would be nice to have some fresh fruit and juice with the more than adequate complimentary breakfast. We will return.

“Best Wedding/Vacation/Honeymoon EVER!!!”

My husband and I booked our wedding and honeymoon through Mike and Martina of the Kauai Country Inn/Kauai Island Weddings. We just visited there Oct.12-19th of 2010. The package we purchased was the best price ANYWHERE for all that was included. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that they had given us a FREE room upgrade because they had a cancellation and the Green Rose Suite was absolutely AMAZING. I am using CAPS because I really can't stress enough how wonderful this place and the people were. If you are looking to have a destination wedding go through Kauai Island Weddings! Todd our minister was wonderful and Martinas son, Johannes, takes the most B-E-A-Utiful pictures I have ever seen!! And if you are just looking for a place to stay for your trip to Kauai, then stay at the Kauai Country Inn...their staff is great, friendly, and very helpful at helping you find things to do. We will definitely be back!!! And were so sad to leave.
Thank you again Mike and Martina!!(and everyone else at KCI)
