This place is quite a bargain, but with that low price comes some quirks that would keep me from returning. First the good ... the rooms are very clean as is the outside property. We received a nice gift basket upon arrival. There are also beach supplies for guest use. The quirks ... there are weird little notes everywhere: don't put your luggage or other belongings on the bed or furniture; don't do this; don't do that; etc. A book with notes tells you it's your option whether or not you want to make the bed. What? Is that as opposed to telling me I must? Another tells you the beds and pillows are comfotable and they know because they've slept in them. Great, but how about flipping the mattress once in a while. The notes were all quite off-putting (they could have all been worded in a much friendlier way, but I don't think English is her strong suit as her cancellation policy is worded incorrectly on the form she mails out) and made me think the owner is not relaxed enough to operate an inn. Instead, they make it come off as though the paying guests are the enemy to be warned at every turn. Breakfast started out great the first day - a warm egg dish plus fruit and bread - but went downhill from there to just including fruit and bread. We never received a breakfast beverage nor did we receive the bottled water or drinks promised on their website. The owner only talked to us at check-in and never once stopped by while we ate outside in the mornings or sat in the spa to ask how everything was. We basically never saw her again. She wasn't even around to say good bye. Part of the reason for staying at a B&B is to have a welcoming host and someone who makes you feel at home. We didn't get that. Even her emails when I made the reservation were rather curt. Noise from the owners does begin around 6 a.m. when you hear them and their dog above you walking around. In all, priced correctly and very tidy, but not quite as good as promised on the website.
