Vista Waikoloa is a little older property than some in the resort area , but is well-maintained. The grounds, and the saline pool and hot tubs are magnificent. They have a common area with four Weber gas grilles that allowed us to easily make a couple of our dinners. We stayed in D-202 and it was spacious with a huge lanai, and a really large living area. Old tube TV's but who wants to watch TV when you are in paradise? The kitchen was OK, not bad. The office staff did seem a little curt at times, maybe overwhelmed with work, but not the usual island friendliness. That said, the arrangements were easily made by them and executed and a late arrival for us came off flawlessly. Access to A-Bay beach can be had by foot and that is a good, basic beach. Island Gourmet in one of the markets has a decent wine and food offerings to eat in the condo, they aren't cheap, but at $4.50 a gallon for gas.... This was a great condo, we spent 5 nights and would certainly return and recommend.
