I was a little apprehensive of booking a place here, however, none of my fears were realised.
It is a way away from other places, down near the end of the road of the village, if it can even be called that. However, if you want to visit the Volcanoes National Park, I'd stay in this area.
We stayed on the top floor of the main building. You have to remove your shoes before you enter.
The room was large and the bathroom was tiny in comparison. The windows are large, letting in a lot of natural light and there are loads of trees all around. Floors are wooden. There was even a dining table in the room with a couch. The room was very clean, felt clean, felt spacious. I could have been holed up there the whole week reading a book, I think.
I did not use the hot tub outside.
Rain water is collected for the bath, which I thought was very cool.
Breakfast is very basic, but enough to get the day started.
