The proprietors have attitude issues that made for an unpleasant stay. The inn's website does not clearly indicate there's a $25 extra per person charge for more guests than two. That brought the per-night cost to $190 -- $215 with tax included, The hosts would not agree to eliminate the extra charge, nor would they consent to our request to shorten our stay from the two nights reserved to just one. Because a debit card was used for the booking, we had no recourse. The total cost of nearly $430 for two nights would have been exorbitant even if the hosts were accommodating. Breakfast can charitably be described as modest; nothing cooked is offered, and one of the main "dishes" is boxed cereal. You can do a lot better than Tara Firma when you visit spectacular Volcanoes National Park.
