“Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful!”

Our second stay at Kalaekilohana was just as special as our first stay two years ago. The property is gorgeous and the accommodations are top-notch. Kilohana & Kenny are perfect hosts. They intuitively know how to give you every comfort and desire. At the same, time they are sensitive to the need for privacy. The room was outfitted with plush linens, toiletries, and the most restful bed. The morning breakfasts of beautiful local ingredients were delicious and healthy. In the evenings we were invited to spend time relaxing with wine and other guests sharing the events of the day. The location in South Point was a perfect home base to so many wonderful activities and places. It was great fun. We hope to return to Kalaekilohana many, many times. Mahaolo Nui Loa!!

“International standards of sophistication are overwhelmed by the charms of old Hawaii.”

Coming home to Kalaekilohana is like a glimpse in time at a period when fruit came fresh from the trees, beef was on the hoof just yesterday, and when our kupuna were revered and sought out for their wisdom. A visit to Kalaekilohana takes you back to this time, where you stay, and dine and find friendship and adventure.

The rooms are spectacularly large, with breezy window and porches, large beds with insanely comfortable sheets and pillows to die for. Native Hawaiian crafts, from woven mats to exquisite feather arts, fill the house, which is, itself crafted from every manner of native Hawaiian hardwood.

Your hosts will pamper you, feed you with exquisite, slow cooked, locally sources fruits and meats, help you plan your day - or just play some Hawaiian music in the music room. Step back to the days of Hawaii at its very, very best at Kalaekiqlohana.

“Wonderful taste of Hawaii”

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Kalaekilohana Bed & Breakfast. Kenny and Kilohana were wonderful hosts and strong advocates for Hawaiian culture. Jane had a lesson in making feather leis from Kilohana and returned to the mainland enthusiastic about Hawaiian crafts. The rooms were large, the beds very comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious. Thanks for a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation.

To all who want to stay somewhere that is relaxing and wonderful stay ay tje Kalaekilohana. The rooms are large and the breakfast is terrific. The owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and provide a place to call home. They also have wine and other beverages always available along with good snacks too. It was truly a fabulous experience and surpassed our expectations.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great, but the one we stayed in had the extra balcony and nice view too.

“Quiet and relaxing beautiful Inn”

My wife and I had a very memorable stay at this small beautiful inn.
Very comfortable and relaxing in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was exceptional.
We enjoyed good Hawaiian music in the lanai, facing the huge garden where we see burning sunset and hear birds singing with soothing breeze.
We thought this is the real Hawaiian hospitality, or is this Heaven?
We felt like visiting my old friends home.
We are sure we would come back again.
