“Home away from home”

We stayed at the Ponderosa building at the Aspen's and fell in love with it. The condo was beautifully decorated and had a full kitchen with all the appliances and accessories one could need. It was close enough to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park to take day trips and not have too far to get back home. We plan to return as soon as possible!

“Great condo! Clean, affordable and close to the ski resort.”

My husband and I stayed at the Aspens from 3/24/11-3/27/11 and loved it. The condo was very inexpensive (off season) and had everything we could hope for. It has been newly remodeled with slate in the large foyer (perfect for ski gear or as a mud room in the summer), granite counter tops, brand new GE appliances, a propane grill on the deck, large washer and dryer and a separate bedroom from the living area. There is also a spa and grocery/liquor store on the grounds of the condo complex. We had good service in both places. The Aspens is only a four minute drive to Jackson Hole resort and a bus makes it's rounds through the complext regularly. I normally don't write tripadivsor reviews, but this place was great and the reviews I read on this site did not do it justice.
Only drawbacks:
1.) check in place is hard to find but you go there once so oh well. It is connected to a
Sinclar.
2.) bedrooms are cozy and a little small. It does get really hot at night so skip the in room heater. I opened a window at night at that helped.

“Great Location for Skiing, Beautiful Condo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2011

We stayed at a recently renovated 1 bed/1 bath at the Aspens in the Ponderosa building (400) in January 2011 and loved it. The Aspens is a 5 minute drive from the ski resort. Unlike others who have reviewed here, I had no problems finding the office in town. I called the office from the airport, and they gave me perfect directions.

The newly renovated condo was tastefully decorated and came equipped with a full kitchen. We're heavy cookers and found all the pots/pans/dishes, etc. we needed. We also found the condo very quiet. For what it's worth, however, the guest book was full of people complaining about noise from upstairs neighbors, so be aware when booking a condo on the first floor.

The health club was lovely, especially the dry sauna and outdoor hot tub. Internet worked like a charm.

All in all, a wonderful stay, and we'll be back.

“Great condo and great value!”

We stayed at a 2br+loft condo managed by the Jackson Hole Rendezvous Mountain Rentals & Management. The condo was beautiful and very well maintained. The price was great, especially given the fact that it was over New Year's. There is a free shuttle to the slopes which are 5 miles away. The place felt like a hotel, there was a front desk number, house keeping, delivery from the local restaurants, etc. The management company was helpful, professional and courteous. We highly recommend this place. You can use the on-site health club and hot tub+sauna for a small additional fee.

“Not bad, but will look elsewhere next time”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

I booked a 2 BR/2BA townhome via Expedia.com and The Aspens. I was a little nervous as to what I will get--will it be comfortable, dated, in a good location with a good view...what I got was adequate, although it took a long time to get there.

First, the office is very very difficult to find, and not the address Expedia gives. The management knows that, was apologetic, and I'm certain followed up, as they said they had been fighting Expedia for two years over the office address. The office is in Teton Village next to the gas station--about 7 miles from where it is said to be. After a lot of confusion, checking with other timeshare businesses, etc., I got help tracking them down. I can't imagine trying to find it at night after everything is closed!

The condo was pretty dated circa 1989. It was clean. It had a view of the Teton Club pool, for which you get a membership to the club for your stay. The deck is not really one to hang out on...very closed in and weathered. The sofa was scratchy--like I said, dated and probably just as old. Also, the sun shown through the bedroom upstairs at 5:30--so no sleeping in.

The internet supplied by management for free did not work on day 2, 3 or 4-was able to use a neighbor's wireless however.

I'll definitely return to Jackson Hole--I loved the visit and it is a fantastic place. I won't stay here though---too many better places to stay with more comfort and confidence.

I recommend with reservations--if you want a bigger place, it's fine for the money in the area...
