Our overall visit was very good, the room was very clean and fresh, and there was a refrigerator and microwave, plus a flatscreen TV with HD. The bed was very comfortable.

One side of the building faces a busy railroad crossing about a block away, so you may want to request a room on the opposite side. Also, the first floor is actually like a half-level below ground, so we asked for a second floor room, which we liked much better.

The staff was friendly and efficient, and the room rates were considerably less that the Holiday Inn in town, which has the same issues with noise from passing trains. Next door is a family style restaurant (Deacon's) with a good menu selection.

I was generally pleased with this facility.

We stayed here for one night as we made our way through Wyoming to visit Fort Laramie. What a great little secret this place seems to be. The woman who checked us in was super friendly. Our room was a pleasant surprise. It was VERY clean, incredibly quiet and contained a TV, and a microfridge plus a coffee maker. We had two double beds that were super comfortable and more pillows than we could use. Towels were plentiful and the bathroom was spotless. When we checked in to our room, there was a note on the desk telling us about a beetle infestation that occurs this time of year in their area. They wanted to assure us they were doing all they could to make sure the beetles did not get in the room but there was the possiblity one might wind up in our room. The letter stated that if we did find a beetle to notify them and they would take care of it immediately. This might not seem like much to some folks but we were pleased that the management took enough pride in their facility to let folks know of this issue and their desire to help if needed. We did not encounter any of the little buggers. They had a very nice (albeit small) indoor pool and a very limited breakfast due to space limitations (cereal, bagels, toast, coffee juice). This motel might not look like much on the outside but don't let that fool you. It is really quite nice for the overnight traveler and the price is right! Four stars due to the limited breakfast offerings, but the room was terrific.

This motel seems to have been put together and added onto at different times. We couldn't find the reception area, the parking lot was on one side and the reception area was on the other side of the building. We ended up walking around the building to find it. Reception people friendly and very courteous, though. When we entered our room, we were surprised at how stinky it was!! We considered trying a different place, but according to Trip Advisor, there aren't many good choices in Torrington, so we stayed put. Eventually we found out if we turned off the air conditioner, the stink went away and the rest of the room was clean and okay. Bed wasn't too comfy. Breakfast was light. The parking area was crunched.

We stayed at this hotel while passing through, on our way to Denver - We were pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel (though not much to look at on the outside) was very clean and had a VERY friendly staff. In addition to clean rooms, there is an indoor pool and continental b'fast in the AM. B'fast is nothing to rave about (packaged danish, boxed cereals) but it was fine for our family.. Definitely recommend this hotel for the price.
