We stayed here for four nights whilst exploring the Bighorn Mountains. Our main complaint was that it we found it difficult to locate to start with as our Sat Nav did not recognise Sibley Circle. The hotel is located off 5th exit 23 from the 1 - 90 It is also no where within walking distance for places to eat, as it is perched on a hill away from the main street. The reception area was nice and the staff very pleasant. Our bedroom was like a boutique hotel room, very smart and modern with a very large bathroom, loads of fluffy towels and toiletries, plenty of mirrors and uber powerfull hairdryer. The room also had micro, fridge and huge TV and Wi Fi. The room no 126 was on the ground floor looking out on to the car park, which was a bit off putting, as you could not open the curtains without people being able to see in all the time. I think it must have also been next to some sort of service cupboard that housed a motor, as this awfull noise would start up periodically, usually when trying to sleep, and would just keep humming. If it were not for the fact that i had unpacked everything before I noticed this, I would have asked for a change of room. As it was i used my earplugs every night. The breakfasts were good and very well served by charming Carisa, who was for ever cleaning up and keeping it all spotless. There was allways a good selection. The reception staff were very helpfull, and Johne was kind enough to look up on the internet for an outfitter where we could go horseback riding, and made the phone call for me. We tried two of the recommendations in the book for places to eat. We checked in Sunday night and most places were closed. We finally had to wait to get in to the Wyoming Rib and Chop House, which was SO busy, and very noisy, where our cheque came to $50 but this did include a huge marherita and wine. The food was good if a little on the expensive side. We also went to the Pony Bar and Grill where we paid $23 for a meal for two with wine. Sheridan is a quiet town at the weekends and Labour Day, but there are some quite fun shops there when they are open!! Apart from the room noise this hotel was one of my favourites, and am sure it would have been better in a different room.We paid $472.60 total cost for four nights.
Room Tip: Make sure you are not booked in to room 126 or take earplugs!
