“Hoarder and a dump”

This place is a PIG STYE. I would not pay five cents to stay here. The owner and his Wife are hoarders and have mouths like sailors, and we do not think that the owner takes a shower or changes his clothes..........he is a pig The convenience store smells of cat pee and poop. There is junk laying everywhere. The place is a Poop HOLE..................DO NOT STAY THERE NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE. The Wife talks of shooting the wolves. The wolves were there long before she was and she is the one the needs to be put out of everyone's misery. The bathrooms are crappy, the laundry rooms are crappy and the cabins IE rooms are disgusting. We stayed there when there in the summer of 2010 when there was a couple trying to get that dump cleaned up, but it seemed like like the owner would not let them do their job. The girl was a very sweet person and knew what she was doing, but the owners would not step out of the way of what she and the fella were trying to do. This place needs to be burned to the ground. Poop hole is all that we can say. It was the most disgusting thing that I have ever seen except on the show "Hoarders"

Room Tip: Do not stay here at all. You will be sorry you spent one red cent.

“A resort? More like a joke!”

I'll keep this short and simple. Do not come here! If I had anything good to say about this place I would but I don't. They deserve to be shut down. Find somewhere else.

“The worst RV Park i've ever seen”

This park is overpriced, and run down, specially the playground. There are rusty nails everywhere and some toys are broken. The toilets are horrible and not maintained and for all this "comfort" you gonna pay off season 50 bucks! Stay away!

Room Tip: A few miles to the east is a NF campground with a better value!

“WORST!!!!!BATES MOTEL OF WYOMING”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

Just like some of the reviews I now 'finally' read, we (my husband and I) shoud have done our homework before stopping at this "hellhole" called Grand Teton Park RV Resort. It is anything but a resort. My husband picked this place among others in the Teton area because of the "on location car rental" they claim they have available on their website. We should have known better than to trust a place like this to have such a thing as rental car. This 'van' they rented to us for $73.00 per day (three times the cost of renting from National Car Rental) is an old beat up Chevy Astro van with 172,000 miles on it. Since we needed to go to Jackson to buy some badly needed supplies, we decided to give the 'van' a try. HORRIBLE!!! Beware of any of their website claim. This vehicle had a huge crack on the driver's side windshield, ripped and very filthy interior, duct taped rips on the interior door vinyl. The front wheels felt like they are ready to fall off when making turns. And because it rained the day we drove it, we had to use the wipers which to our dismay had broken wiper blades. We pointed out the unsafe condition of the vehicle to the staff when we got back from our trip to Jackson, and we were told we still have to pay the full day's rent even though we only used the van from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Where the hell did these people come from? They collect the most expensive fee for anything and everything but they do not care about customer's safety or the quality of the goods and services they offer. They obviously had some European accent. The camp is so badly weather beaten and needs upgrades. Did I mention they have the most expensive rates? The WiFi they claim to have is not only slow but it shuts off after 11:00 p.m. I found out by staying online late one night. Just one of the 'timed' things they offer. The shower/toilet as well as laundry room are all housed in the same building which does not have any locked entry doors. Another safety issue. Taking a shower was quite a challenge. They obviously do not want anyone to take more than a five minute shower. The light switch is timed with the exhaust fan so that it automatically shuts off after a few minutes. You always end up splashing water all over this cramped 3 feet by 5 feet space called shower room. The shower curtain is too short, then the light goes out as you are still shampooing your hair so you have to stretch your arm out to search for the stupid switch to turn it back on so you can finish showering. I mean these people do not care about anything except sucking your money into their wallets. We had the unfortunate experience of staying there for three nights so we witnessed a lot of reasons why we would never go back to this 'dump' site. Half of the laundry machines had 'out of order' signs on them. Those machines looked like they were picked up from some junk yard and finally lost its final stage of use. Very old machines. The picture of some beautiful pastoral scene that they use on their website is nowhere to be found in their actual location. They do not even have 'real' pictures of actual camp site or any facilities on their website. They only show artist's 'drawings' of the actual camp. That should have been a clue for us. Do not even try to check in for one night even if this is the last place on earth. Save you money.

Room Tip: Save your money and go somewhere else. Look for a rest stop or truck stop if you are in an RV.

“If you like rustic this is okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

4 adult couples stayed at this location when we could not find any other places that could take our 2 big rigs pulling trailers with motorcycles. My husband booked this location without reading any reviews. I found the reviews a little too late for us to try to get into another location on short notice, so we decided to give it a try anyway. This place was not near as bad as the reviews we read, at least to us. But we were there to ride Harley's thru the mountains, not spend time in the campground, so it met out needs. The bathhouse was clean, water hot, laundry facility clean and worked great. There was even heat lamps in the showers and toilet area, and since it was 40 degrees when we got up every morning, that was really appreciated to this warm weather group.
The roads were part paved and gravel. I usually only like paved roads when riding, but these were not that bad. Better than really loose gravel or dirt. Our site was fairly level and it was a long large pull thru. The tables are old (use a vinyl tablecloth) and the buildings really need some paint scraped and redone, but cosmetics like that did not make that much difference. The views were GREAT! The Grand Tetons every morning and evening were just beautiful and the ride to the entrance of the park was just perfect.
So, this might not be the best park for you if you want lots of amenities in the campground for your entertainment. But if you are looking for a place to pull in, drop anchor a couple days to ride the mountains and see the National Parks, it will do. Give it a chance if you can't find another location that meets your needs.
