I am in the Military and my husband and I just drove from PA to Northern California. Worst thing ever! We stopped at a different hotel each night (5 nights) and AmericInn was by far the best one. The room was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. There was free WiFi in the room, free breakfast and not continental it was delicious! They had a laundry room and fitness room with a bike, treadmill, and eliptical. Also had an indoor pool, but we did not use it. The area was beautiful. It was such a nice place to stop...highly recommended.

We were traveling home from Yellowstone (in October '11) and came to halt on Interstate 80 in the middle of the night. The Highway Patrol knocked on our window and told us we had to leave the highway. He suggested the Walmart parking lot to sleep in, as he was certain any hotel was filled by now. Fortunately, he was wrong. The AmericInn located right off the highway we thought was sure to be filled. My wife went inside while I searched through trip advisor on my phone. I wasn't having any luck but my wife came back to the car smiling.
THEY HAD A ROOM!! I was almost afraid to ask how much, because we would have paid almost anything they wanted.

The hotel showed their class to us and charged us normal rates and even gave us an AAA discount. I was expecting to pay the "rack room" price but didn't have to.

The breakfast in the morning was a ok. They were not expecting all of the guests and did a wonderful job trying to keep up. My wife was impressed they had Greek Yogurt available and I was good with coffee and a bagel. All of which were fresh.

Thank you AmericInn for accomodating us stranded motorists with such class. It was our first time, but certainly not our last.

We were in Laramie for the first time for the Nebraska-Wyoming football game and chose the Americinn Inn because of their rates and location. We were not disappointed. While it was not within walking distance to the University, it was nearby. The desk staff were friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions and gave us excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. Breakfast was good and there were a variety of choices. We also enjoyed the local newspapers. We only had one complaint and one recommendation. Our room did not have a towel rack. Instead there was a basket with the towels on the back of the toilet which you had to move to the floor in order to use the toilet. Our brother's room did have a towel rack and bars, so not sure why all the rooms aren't equipped this way and his was just across the hall and the same kind of room. A recommendation would be to have a 2nd chair in the room. The only chair is a desk chair and with two people in the room who want to read and watch TV, it is not convenient. We did get an additional chair brought into the room when we asked for it. Also the only wireless internet available is in the lobby but the rooms are hardwired for the internet and an ethernet cable is provided. All in all a great place to stay.

Clean quiet rooms. Staff vey friendly. Free breakfast is good with lots of healthy choices.
