“Clean, comfortable and relaxing.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 March 2011

Wow, what can I say except that the Vee Bar is an exceptional place to stay. We stayed in the Riverside Suites and it was sooooo relaxing. Our stay here was in conjunction with a ski trip to Snowy Range (only ten miles from Vee Bar) so the quiet relaxing evenings were quite welcomed. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff was as friendly and helpful as I've seen, and the meals were delicious. We ate breakfast here every morining and they served something different each time. We ate dinner once and it was good as well. My favorite part of the experience is how secluded and quite it was, so peaceful. The only downside to the Vee Bar was that it did not have a kitchen. For some not having to cook might be welcomed, but we would have liked the ability to do so. The Vee Bar is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so eating options are limited, and we could have saved a few bucks by preparing a few meals ourselves. Overall the stay was great, and I would like to take my family back in the summer for some horseback riding and fishing. If you are looking for somewhre to stay in this area do yourself a favor and try the Vee Bar.

“You definately wont want to go home!!!”

We were fortunate enough to spend an entire week at the VeeBar. We definately did not want to go home! From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The staff is so welcoming and easy to talk to. The VeeBar also has a NO TIPPING policy - which makes you feel even more welcome rather than akward/obligated to give a tip and the end of your great vacation. The staff really enjoys what they do for a living and see to it that you are a part of this.
If you are looking for a great experience in a beautiful setting - THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Tucked away along the foothills in Laramie,Wy. Plush green trees, beautiful river running throuh the property with lots of wildlife that visits you. GREAT STAFF.
Our cabin was right along the river and very comfortable. Each cabin has its own washer/dryer - which was very helpful. Small fridge for mid-day snacks, private bath. No TV (you dont need it!) Internet service in the Lodge. There is a wood burning stove for chilly nights. The sound of the river puts you right to sleep and you can sit on your porch in your rocking chair watching it. Inner tubes provided for kids or those who are kids at heart can float down the property.
The food was excellent. Great cook, pleanty of food and always different. Meals are served buffet style and you mingle with the other guests in the lodge. 6pm cocktails was a great time to get to know the other guests and relax after a long afternoon ride on your horse.
The horses were even better. Not your vacation where you are going nose to butt with the horse in front of you. Depending on your experience and comfort level, you are able to ride at your own speed.
Each ride was always different, exploring 900 acres at the VeeBar and another 5000 acres at Deerwood. Overnight campout/cattle drive is a must. Sleep under the stars in the beautiful Wyoming sky. The wranglers were amazing! Great with the kids in our group and really fun to be around.
To the Cole family; Thank you!!! We will be back for many years to come!!!

“Simply Fabulous!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2009

Stayed at the Vee Bar Guest Ranch over Labor Day weekend, and what a treat! From the John Wayne Saloon, breakfast and dinner in the dining room, and the trail ride on Two Bars to the amazing Riverside Suite, nothing was overlooked. Beautiful accomodations and the friendliest people you will ever have the pleasure to meet. Thanks, Kari and Brent!!
