OK so I was there during the off season, but there is a big lack of at attention to detail. When I entered the room I couldn't really tell if the room had been cleaned or not. Yes, I'm picky, but when towels are not tidy, toilet seats are up, chairs are out of place, carpets need vaccuming, I think - did the maid only do a quick freshen up for a stay over guest or did they really clean the room? Also, the heater in the room had a broken thermostat and the drain in the tub did not work. The guy who checked us in looked like the maintenance man, but the a.m. desk staff was professionally dressed. Teal carpets, gold fixtures, thin towels - the place needs to have some attention soon. I probably will make a reservation at another hotel next time.

We stayed one night on our way across states in Sept. 2011. The hotel is right on a junction next to the interstate, so not hard to find, but I imagine might be a bit noisy at peak holiday times. Our room was large clean and comfortable with two queen beds. Reception was polite. There is a resteraunt attached to the hotel, which we used as we did not want to trek around town looking for a meal.It was very quiet, but probably this was due to the time of year. The service and the meal was pleasant and we had no complaints. This hotel was adequate for us for one night, although I would not want to spend a weeks holiday in it. We paid $95 inc tax with full breakfast.

There were 2 women at the reception desk which was good because one was friendly while the other scowled and could not seem to work her computer application. The hotel is older and our door kept sticking which was a hassle. The room was good sized but looked like hotel rooms 30-40 years ago. You get a slip of paper at check in to check off breakfast selections but in the morning they had a buffet.

I stay at this hotel quite often and am treated just like a family member! The customer service is the best, whether it is the front desk, the maintenance or the restaurant personnel. They all go above and beyond to make one's stay a great one. The hotel exterior goes with the mountain environment quite well and the rooms are comfortable and 'roomy'. The beds are great! Stay with them and you'll find all I stated to be true.
