“Home Sweet Home”

I have stayed at the Wildflower many times, and love returning here, as it is a comfortable and beautiful place to stay. Sherrie and Ken own/run the Inn and are very welcoming. I have used the Inn as a comfy place to stay while taking day trips and hikes in the neighboring parks. The Tetons are a glorious place to visit. I always leave renewed and refreshed to go back to the "real world". The breakfasts are amazing! They also will pack at breakfast for you if you have an early day planned. The guests that I have met at breakfast have been a mixture of ages and backgrounds, all with the same goal of enjoying this lovely area. It is fun sharing our experiences at breakfast.... I have stayed at many different places in the Jackson area through the years, but this is by far the best for me...

“Lovely Inn-Fantastic Hosts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

My husband and I stayed 7 nights in September and had a fantastic time! The Inn itself is lovely, welcoming and in a quiet location--we could hear the coyotes howling at night! Breakfasts are delicious and served family style--we are vegetarians and there was no problem accommodating us--in fact, the breakfasts were all meat free, made with organic ingredients and really tasty! The afternoon social hour with Sherrie's yummy snacks was a great way to get to know the other guests--who were an eclectic mix from all over--including a lovely couple from Germany and an enthusiastic fun couple from the UK! There were some lively conversations over glasses of wine! Sherrie was always available if needed and she is a wealth of information on everything local--from the best places to view wildlife to the best hikes to the best restaurants. There is plenty of room in the Inn to sit and visit or just sit and read. And the extras--walking sticks, day packs, bicycles--were very much appreciated. We are fussy travelers, expecting nice linens and bath amenities--our two room Glacier Lilly Suite did not disappoint us. It was not only very clean but cozy and comfortable as well--there was a corner gas stove to take the chill off in the mornings--nice deck with chairs--sitting room with small refrigerator and sink. There are several nice restaurants local enough to the Inn that you do not have to drive into Jackson if you don't want to--which has all the usual tourist attractions, and therefore had no appeal to us. We were there to take in the beauty of the Tetons and took full advantage of the numerous hiking trails just a short drive away--and the evening wildlife viewing on The Moose-Wilson Road. The Wildflower Inn is one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had, and Sherrie is the reason for it! She does a fabulous job of running her Inn! If you are going to be visiting the Tetons, do not hesitate to book a room at The Wildflower Inn! We could not find anything negative about our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone! Thanks Sherrie for helping to make our week in the breathtakingly beautiful Tetons a wonderful stay! We can't wait to come see you again!

“Far better than a hotel stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

We based ourselves at this very professionally run, yet friendly, inn when we walked in Teton National Park.
The owners are very experienced as hosts and it shows.
Despite being a real mix of ages/backgrounds and nationalities-Sherrie very expertly got us all talking, sharing views and experiences and when she could see that the ice had been broken she quietly slipped away but was always available for any query or request.
The inn bedrooms and public areas are beautifully appointed and this was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we have stayed in.
Sherrie and Ken are a very valuable source of advice but also have many guidebooks to ensure that your stay is a success whatever your interests or plans.
The inn was well placed for touring the Tetons and the Park which is spectacular--in a different way to Yellowstone which was our next base in this wonderful and never to be forgotten holiday.
Jackson itself is worth a morning wander and there are some interesting restaurants there but we stayed closer to home, at Sherrie's recommendation, and ate very well.
The wildlife, the hikes and the photography opportunities are second to none and have left an indelible memory.
Finally-the breakfasts are excellent and freshly prepared before you and we found lunch was not needed at all which simplified things when we went hiking.
We would strongly recommend this excellent accommodation and the hosts and as travellers who have "discovered" boutique B+Bs in recent years(and are very fussy guests) The Wildflower stands out as a gold standard property.
Thank you Sherrie and Ken for making us most welcome and looking after us so very well (including when my husband had had too much sun-the coconut water drink was very helpful).

“Enjoyable Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at the Wildflower. The location was perfect if you are looking to have access to Jackson and the Grand Tetons National Park. Our room (Paintbrush) was comfortable with a deck just outside the room. It was very clean and everything worked well. There is a lovely, high-ceiling living room area with a fabulous stone wall made from smooth river stones of various shapes and colors. Just beyond there is a sunroom sitting area- very comfortable for reading/relaxing. We did not have a lot of relax time as we were keen to take in as much of the incredibly beautiful Teton countryside as we could during out short stay. Ken and Sherrie were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfasts were delicious, cooked by a chef who came in for the morning. All guests sit around a large table so there is ample opportunity to meet the other people and find out what they have been up to. Also great was the availability of bicycles and helmets, free of charge, to take out on the bike path that runs for miles and is accessible right at the end of the driveway. I would not hesitate to return to the Wildflower Inn for a longer stay the next time we visit the Tetons.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

The Tetons are fabulous and so was the Wildflower Inn! We spent four great nights and can not say enough about hosts Ken and Sherrie. Their knowledge and suggestions on hikes were just as wonderful as the food and hospitality, all superb! The rooms were very comfortable and we loved having lunch outside on the back deck with the deer and moose. This was our first trip to the area and it was so terrific thanks to our hosts, we loved it!
