They call the hotel the Painted Buffalo... not because of the decorations on the property... but because it sounds like a herd of buffalo are in the room above you if you get a ground floor room.
The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable, but it is defintely an old hotel. The walls are thin and the creaks are endless. However, when you close your eyes.... all hotels look the same. Well... thats if you can if the buffalos in the upstairs room stop pacing back and forth.
One other thing, the breakfast is the worst free breakfast that I have had. Basically just cereal, donuts, bagels, and muffins. However, the last three are all super tiny.
However.... even with all that said.... if you come to Jackson... it is a good deal. You're not here for the hotel anyways..
Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a fridge and microwave as my room did not have it, but others did.

We appreciate you taking the time to review the Painted Buffalo Inn. Thank you for your comments and feedback. We do like to recommend the second floor for our more sensitive sleepers. We are happy to report that all of our rooms have now been outfitted with refrigerators and we have microwaves available upon request. We hope you have the opportunity to visit us again soon and hope we can accommodate your needs better in the future.
