We stayed two nights in late January and we had no problem with the room. Very clean room nothing fancy about it but a great stay. Beds were good and we did not eat the breakfast hotel although it looked fine we just wanted a hot breakfast. If you want to stay near town square in Jackson this is a great place.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean.

Staying in Jackson is pretty expensive, we were able to book this hotel for under 100 dollars through priceline. We were really glad to find it as they were one of the only hotels in the area that allowed pets. What we really appreciated about the pet policy was that it was a $20 one time charge, not per night! They had a pretty decent breakfast. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. It is located pretty close to the square and provides free parking. The only downside was that the hot water in our shower was spotty, it would be warm then turn cold then warm up again, very strange, but not bad enough for us to complain.

They call the hotel the Painted Buffalo... not because of the decorations on the property... but because it sounds like a herd of buffalo are in the room above you if you get a ground floor room.

The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable, but it is defintely an old hotel. The walls are thin and the creaks are endless. However, when you close your eyes.... all hotels look the same. Well... thats if you can if the buffalos in the upstairs room stop pacing back and forth.

One other thing, the breakfast is the worst free breakfast that I have had. Basically just cereal, donuts, bagels, and muffins. However, the last three are all super tiny.

However.... even with all that said.... if you come to Jackson... it is a good deal. You're not here for the hotel anyways..
