Ok, after roughing it for several nights without TV in Yellowstone and grand teton my husband had to have his mandatory 12 hours of college football(Roll-Tide!!). After camping and hiking, I could use a 6 hours jacuzzi soak. So we checked into the Point Inn Jackson Hole for one night to satisfy our creature comforts. While the price was a little steep, they did offer the morning breakfast and tonights tv, pool, sauna and jacuzzi for my terrible neck
! i was willing to pay to releive my aching neck!
Well, the hubby got his TV fix but I was left high and dry. The jacuzzi was on.... but ICE-cold. I mean cold, cold cold..not just lukewarm ...IT WAS COLD. I altered the desk and they made an attempt to turn it on but it just wouldnt heat up. I dont blame the poor desk folks because this is really a maintenance issue but I hate it when hotels advertize something then they just dont deliver.
Jacuzzis need upkeep and weary travelers will pay for their use....but if you dont intend to keep them working....could ya throw me a bone and discount my bill 5/10 $ for the inconvienience?
So I headed back up to the room creastfallen and found the big tub and soaked in that for 2 hours ..aaaahhhhhh...warm and bubbley!!
Oh yes, there was a comfy bed, and printing /computer services. Also the breakfast was rather nice, even if the location was small. I bring my tray back to my room anyway. Boiled eggs, Cereal, Waffles, pastry, Yogurt, juices, fruit, and Coffee with CREAMER!!!hazelnut creamer!!!
Ok that doesnt make up for the broken jacuzzi, but it helped.
